NoPanShabuShabu
Only if you get your dates in a weird order, like the US does ;) I wish I hadn't posted something, otherwise you would have tied the record for turning a lighthearted discussion here into U.S. bashing. My apologies. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1141666-happy-pi-day/#findComment-595577458 Share on other sites

My apologies. Wow, way to take a joke and act defensively! It's a joke - I hardly see America getting it's dates in a weird format* the worst thing I could say - uptight much!? * Yup, most of the world works to the more obviously logical DD/MM/YYYY Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1141666-happy-pi-day/#findComment-595577468 Share on other sites
Arceles
Yo, I'mma let you finish, but I think e is the best trancendental constant of all time! Pi is the most importand, Euler constants and equations are seen as the "most elegant" Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1141666-happy-pi-day/#findComment-595577476 Share on other sites
Charisma Veteran Posted March 14, 2013 Veteran Share Posted March 14, 2013 Only if you get your dates in a weird order, like the US does ;) The US format has the advantage when it means you get to celebrate with pie. I mean, 14.3 is nothing :o * Yup, most of the world works to the more obviously logical DD/MM/YYYY I'll just leave this here... http://xkcd.com/1179/ ;) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1141666-happy-pi-day/#findComment-595577494 Share on other sites
+Nik Louch Subscriber² Posted March 14, 2013 Subscriber² Share Posted March 14, 2013 Completely agree. YYYY-MM-DD is absolutely perfect. BUT --->MOST<--- of the world uses DD-MM-YYYY Wow, a lighthearted joke seems to really have undermined this thread... Way to lose it dude, maybe I was kidding too. Anyway, YYYY/MM/DD is more logical than that. MM/DD/YYYY is like that because that's the way that is it spoken in English. Back on topic! Wouldn't the best time of day to celebrate this be at 3:49:21 AM? ATLien_0
If if you don't go by the U.S Date standard, pi day is still important since of course this is no pi day in the Euro standard Charisma 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1141666-happy-pi-day/#findComment-595577618 Share on other sites
