what games would you like a Remake of in HD?

Recommended Posts

Everything based on the Infinity Engine. With BG:EE and BG2:EE I can check out the two most important off the list.

Lords of the Realm 2. Only good game of the series, had the best music I ever heard in a video game.

Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time

Still my favorite game in that series, by far actually, and it looked pretty damn good when it was released.

Battlefield 2 or Battlefield 2142

I would love to see the maps made exactly as they were, but with the latest iteration of the Frostbite engine. And I know they rereleased Karkand for example in BF3. But it was altered a decent amount.

UT2K4

I still think Unreal Tournament 2K4 was a great game. I loved the Assault mode. Same game, better graphics. Why the hell not.

Soldier Of Fortune II Double Helix

Just such a fun FPS at the time if its release.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory

Still the best FTP (Free To Play) game ever made.

Far Cry

The original game that put Crytek on the map IMHO, was a beautiful game when it was released. I still remember the first Friday night I fired it up, and spent hours that first night just marveling at the water itself. It was also truly the most open game out of all the subsequent games. Really introduced a proper sandbox environment to the FPS genre. Same exact game but with a graphic overhaul would be great.

Crash Bandicoot

The original wacky third person platformer. It had such a cartoon style even back then, I think it would look amazing with Rayman Origins type visuals.

Metroid or Castlevania

The game(s) that started a whole sub genre. And I know there have been attempts at redoing both with better visuals. But with today's types of visuals, and just the original games left untouched. Cannot go wrong there.

?

and finally, to have one game that really brings it back...??

Q Bert

Just would love to see such a simple basic modern game done with crazy visuals, and really give Q Bert the animations he deserved.

A link to the past

As Larry said wolf et - easily the most fun mp fps

Any of the old school Lucas arts games monkey island and Indiana jones fate of Atlantis

Really are so many great classic games that just need a to be dressed up to look nice in hd, don't touch the gameplay.

    • Sorry I mean your back rest on your Herman, can you move the back say 2cm then lock it? Then realise 2cm isn’t enough and you want an extra 1cm then lock it into that position? Basically like in an older car seat, you turn the knob round until you get the back recline precisely where you want it, this is what I found the Herman wouldn’t do
    • WTF? I am not taking a video of myself to access a site or to create an account. What are they thinking? I don’t even have a webcam on my main desktop PC. The powers to be are really looking to normalize the taking of pics or submitting ID for everything. I afraid most people will end up just going along with it.
