Non... they always ruin the game with a re-make.

Black Mesa and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive are two off the top of my head that were pretty decent HD remakes of their original counterparts (Half-Life and Counter-Strike respectively). They are just two examples, I'm sure there's more.

It would be cool to see most of the old Cinemaware stuff remade with today's technology. I would love a Rocket Ranger remade with some 3rd Person Cover Based locations thrown in.
