To transfer from iPod to iPod..?

Recommended Posts

Hook both up to your computer and open up the folders of each and do what ya want.

Or load both in to iTunes, pick what files to be transferred and copy/paste to the other, or drag n drop.

Is pretty simple really.

Oh I missed the iTunes part, lol. but you should still be able to open them as folders.

If not, use iTunes then uninstall it if you don't like it.

I never liked iTunes but used it for all my iPod needs and that's it.

Doesn't hurt anything having it installed on your computer, besides, I think it's the only way to do firmware updates.

Has nobody ever done this? I find it very hard to believe. Surely someone out there has had an iPod & then replaced it (for whatever reason - broke it, got bored of it etc) & wanted to transfer their files across.

It is a pain, I know, but Apple does this to prevent piracy. I keep all my music backed up. The problem is, my music is backed up all over the place. I just got a new Ipod since my old one broke and I'm still working on getting all the songs in. I got most of them in, but just discovered that a few songs are missing. I think I had them backed up in a different folder in my computer and that's why I forgot those. Argh, real pain!!
