Block Ads Before Video Plays?

My local TV station shows news videos on their online site but before the news parts play they have 3 or more commercials that play. What a pain! Is there either a Firefox or Chrome add on that can stop these ads? I found Adblock video but it says for Firefox 5-15 and I am using Firefox 19.0.2.

Have you simply tried the regular extensions? Most of them block video ads.

Does using AdBlock Plus + EasyList subscription not help? If it doesn't block the ads you want, you could try posting on the Easylist forums and see if theres a filter you can add.
