What am I going to do at the park? Play at the swings and monkey bars? I'm in my late 20s!!!

Dude there is more to a park than swings and monkey bars.... Just walking around, bike ride if you have a bike, rollerblade of you have blades. You need to be creative.

You need to go someplace where the females are also looking to meet people. They usually don't go to the mall to meet guys...

Check out social gatherings like clubs, concerts, bars (you don't need to drink alcohol), beaches, etc.

Perhaps the easiest place to start is on an online dating website.

What am I going to do at the park? Play at the swings and monkey bars? I'm in my late 20s!!!

A public park doesn't automatically equal a playground for children. I live in the city where parks have tennis, basketball, volleyball, and lots of other facilities at your disposal. My brother used to check on Craigslist to find girls to play tennis with.

You can totally go to a bar even though you don't drink - people are selfabsorbed (which isn't a bad thing) and aren't paying much attention to anyone besides themselves and perhaps the other gender they are trying to get lucky with :)

You can always ask for a glass of water and say that it's a straight vodka, or just tell the truth and say that it's water. If the girl isn't fine with it - then it's not a woman you would want to be with for the long run. But then again, I'm assuming you can order water in a bar, seeing as I'm not a night life man myself.

But in all honesty, I recommend trying to get more self confident - that is a biggie. That is actually the best thing you can do for yourself, because it's really nerve wrecking talking to a stranger, and - unless you do it every single day - you have to have quite a bit of self confidence when you see a women giving you the green light (sadly I don't have much of it, but if I see a girl giving me the green light to talk to her then I try to pump a little inside of me ...oooeeerrrr)

And that's my next point - learning to identify the flirting signals women give out. Then you can approach them everywhere.

I don't approach everyday, frankly I don't do it very often and only in my college environment, and I've had three kinds of experiences so far; the girls that light up like christmas trees when you speak to them (that is very rewarding in it self; those girls I had been observing for a while and they were always giving me the green light to appraoch them for a long time); the second one can be best described as the "deer in headlights look" when they don't believe that you are talking to them (again, those are girls that I had been noticing their signals for quite a while). And my third observation is in regards to only one girl - she got so nervous when I approached her that she only gave me one-worded answers; I hadn't seen her before but she gave me very strongs signals to approach her (she even had her female friend walking behind her when they two walked in front of me (I was seated) just to see if I was paying attention to her); I had to go to the bathroom and pump myself up in front of the mirror to try to get some courage to approach her, so maybe I came on too strong when I approached her, but she was nervous.

The fourth response is that girls will walk away. That I saw on a "pua" youtube-video; I've never approached a girl in the street, but that is one behaviour that one can and should expect.

I'm listing these four down for you as I've done some studying on how to approach girls, and not one of the literature has tried to describe what to expect in the first few seconds - except for that YouTube video.

But I highly recommend learning about female flirting signals; bound to be loads of reading material online. I actually read a book about that, which I highly recommend and can send you the title of in a pm; don't know if there's an ebook version on torrentz but there probably is if you want it for free.

Bars, Nightclubs, Amusement Parks, Parks, Car shows, and other places you can imagine. That you can find a woman to hang out with anyplace. Even at the church which there are some single women at church to find single men to talk with. Maybe go out for a coffee afterwards...

Depends on what type of woman you are looking for... For example, you want a nice woman, you go to church. You want a wild/crazy woman, go to nightclub... Fast car girls, then go to the car shows or car cruising depends on the area and permits.

You do NOT have to drink if you go to the bar/nightclub to meet a woman... if you drink water, girls think you are drinking Vodka as other posters say. Even they have coke as well if you are not interested in drinking beer or mixed drinks. If you are drinking coke, so the girls will think you are drinking mixed drink such as Coke and JD or Coke and Rum, something like that.

I met a woman at the amusement park years ago... she came up to me and asking for a ride home.... So I gave her a ride and dropped her off at her place and we went out from time to time. Then later, we moved on for better things..

Good luck

I am sure if you look it up, there has to be PLENTY of events in NYC meant for single people to meet other single people.

With that said, bars would be a decent place. The fact you do not drink could very well be the starting point for the conversation.

When I lived their for college, I met quite a few girls in the area of Washington Square Park and the actual park itself. NYU is right there. It is the village area as well. Especially summer time, NYC is LOADED with women. Just have to muster up the courage to talk to them.

Also bookstores, which there are a ton of in the city. GREAT place.

Hum is also onto something with the supermarket being a good place. Just hard not to look like a creep hanging around a supermarket, but perhaps you can purposely make your trips daily to it.

But seriously, look up singles events in NYC. There will probably be so many you will find one just for your ethnic or religious group if you wanted to.

really just takes a confidence. That is what I have found women are attracted to the most. Not being arrogant, but being confident. There is a big difference. But if you are confident in yourself, they usually tend to be confident in you as well.

You should really meet in a public place and take them somewhere that is far away (at knife point and in spite of their objections) and isolated where their screams won't be heard. This will enable you to achieve the goals you have in mind.

I go to church and 99% of the people there are old, i.e. age 70+. Let's face it, young people today don't go to church.

Oh you should visit Honduras, Central America... or just out, Central America... The amount of young women there is well, making want to go to church  LOL, seriously, we joke around with a friend saying "Oh No dear Lord, YES YES" :shifty: they say "no" with their legs wide open.

one time a 40+ year old woman at Costco tried to pick me up. She was pretty desperate too, wouldn't let it go. Could have destroyed that but I'm not into older women, plus she could have been some nut.

You're lucky!! I wish women would go after me like that and wouldn't let me go.

    • I imagine that was a review or something? My reviews mostly contain a lot of images and galleries, but these are all webp too, but yeah it all adds up on the page load. Would help if you were more helpful with your critique instead of bitching and moaning like a Karen 😂 Because then we might be able to fix it for you.
    • If Valve refused to let them make the case, I wonder if they've already partnered with someone else to do it? The fact that they didn't seek permission/licence before diving straight in is incredible though
    • OpenClaw now has native mobile apps on iOS and Android by Karthik Mudaliar OpenClaw, the viral open-source personal AI agent, now has its own mobile app, available on both Android and iOS. Users can pair the app with an existing OpenClaw gateway and can start using new mobile-native features that are now available on the app. The app supports all the existing features you'd already have seen on OpenClaw's TUI, as well as some more, such as real-time and background Talk mode, action approvals, sharing from iOS, and optional access to device capabilities such as camera, screen, location, photos, contacts, calendar, and reminders. These features are available on both the Android and iOS versions of the app. What's important with these apps is that they don't run OpenClaw on your phone, but are actually just companion apps that require a running OpenClaw Gateway on an existing device, on macOS, Linux, or Windows via WSL2. To pair the app with your existing OpenClaw gateway, users need to run the command "/pair qr" on the TUI or existing chat interface, which brings up a QR code. Users can then scan this QR code to pair it up with the mobile app. There's also an option to manually pair the app by entering the host and a port. Previously, OpenClaw had been available on phones via WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Matrix, and others. Now, with a native mobile app, the interface is much cleaner and more focused on just the OpenClaw, of course, with the added support for camera, screen, location, and more. It's important to note that OpenClaw comes with its own security warnings. There's always a chance of prompt injection with these tools, so users are recommended to double-check authentication, tool policy, sandboxing, and execution approvals rather than prompts alone. For users well-versed with the AI harness, a native mobile app makes it easier to approve an automation, share a link, use voice, or let an agent react to phone-side context.
    • Google pitches Spanner as one database for all AI agents with these new featues by Karthik Mudaliar Google Cloud is introducing new features within Spanner, its distributed database, as a place where enterprises should keep their data, using which AI agents could make smarter and better decisions. In a detailed blog post, Google highlighted quite a few features coming to Spanner, including relational data, graph relationships, vector search, key-value access, full-text search, and operational analytics together in one database architecture. Google says that today's systems aren't well-made for AI agents. There could be data that is present in one system, search indexes in another, embeddings in a vector database, and relationship data in a graph database. This fragmentation isn't great for AI agents to do their jobs because they don't have access to all of this data in one place. This is where Google is positioning Spanner as a solution. Spanner is already a globally distributed relational database with strong consistency, and Google wants its customers to see it as a broader data layer for AI applications. The company introduced something called Spanner Graph, along with integrated vector search, full-text search, a Cassandra-compatible key-value endpoint, and a columnar engine for analytical queries on operational data. Google also added that its ScaNN-powered vector search can support indexes with more than 10 billion vectors, while the columnar engine can make some analytical scans up to 200 times faster. All of this isn't just exclusive to the Google Cloud Platform, and there's support for multi-cloud as well. This comes via Spanner Omni, which Google says is a downloadable, containerized version of Spanner that can run on Kubernetes and in environments outside Google Cloud, including Microsoft Azure and AWS, and even on-premises infrastructure as well as edge deployments. Google says that customers who are interested in the full-featured edition should contact the company, and there's no word on commercial availability or separate pricing. Those interested can read the full blog by Google Cloud, which details these features individually.
