from Note I to Note II, should I go for WP8?

Like others have said, try it out in stores. See if you like it - it may fit you well, or you may end up not liking it. You can also download Switch to Windows Phone (an Android app from Microsoft) that tells you if your apps are compatible. I've heard the app isn't that great, but should give you some idea. The best thing to do is go to a carrier store, and check out the Windows Phone marketplace yourself, as well as the rest of the OS.

Its a senseless urge. Windows Phone is fantastic but it just doesn't have the apps,

I am an app guy and I love the massive Android ecosystem. If that doesn't bother you and you like basically default apps WP8 will be a great choice.

That said, I have a Note II and it's the best phone I have ever used. It's just awesome.

If you're okay with using a device with a smaller screen, then try out the Nokia Lumia 920. It has a 4.5" 720p display and arguably the best camera on a smartphone right now. WP8 is still a fairly new OS (released in October 2012) so the app selection isn't as great as Android or iOS. However, a recent report showed that only 30% of the top 50 free apps aren't available. Also, there's an app called Switch to Windows Phone that will show you how many of your Android apps are available on WP.

you must do like me, I was like you impatient and curious about this strange OS that like very beautiful, so I watch a video on youtube that shows a WP8 in a Lumia 920 and I admit that comparing it to Android is not worth the trouble, Android is more customizable and has many more applications, then stay with the galaxy Note 2 or wait for the samsung galaxy note 3
