Ok guys, call me stupid, but I'm having a slight issue. Everything was running great on my Windows 8 install but now when I go to the Start screen and being typing to bring up an app (for example Notepad), I now have to type "notepad" in full for search to find it where as I used to be able to put in the "n-o-t" from notepad and it would recognise it. I've had a look around for settings but can't seem to find anything, am I just having a blonde moment or have others come across this before?
Stop reporting AR glasses as an X inch screen, Y distance away. That is a horseshit meaningless spec. Report on the actual FOV angle. That's all that matters.
And for the record, this FOV is ~49degrees. So we're talking about HoloLens level FOV... i.e. it's like looking through a piece of paper at arm's length.
