ive amended mine due to adding 5ghz so now pottytoes and pottytoes5 (i know so original)

I run mine to both have the same name and let the clients choose the network. I've also made my network favor 5Ghz.

I too call mine "Skynet". There is a reason for it...

I use Eero and the app used to have a design where it would say: "Name of network" is online. So I actually renamed my network so this would say "Skynet is online".

Eero has since changed the app design so it does not say this anymore. But I left the name.

One of best names I heard of recently was "FBISuvellienceVan1"

i did that for a while but i found the 5gHz signal quality upstairs was poorer than downstairs. ive left the skyHD unit downstairs enjoying the 5Ghz and anyhting fixed. Im lucky i can get a 2.4ghz channel 11 to be nice and clear with no converging ssids from neighbours.

The SSID is Helium (lightest element), mobile devices named as other lighter than air/gaseous elements and all of my desktop/server systems are named for heavier elements.

    • Tor Browser 15.0.17 by Razvan Serea Protect your privacy. Defend yourself against network surveillance and traffic analysis. Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody from watching your Internet connection and learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. The Tor Browser Bundle lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. It can run off a USB flash drive, comes with a pre-configured web browser to protect your anonymity, and is self-contained.
