I don't understand how much more simpler this question can be.

Open IE look how bookmarks work in it, and that's all I'm asking for.

A simple icon that opens a very simple menu, that you can lock in place if you want.

when you open one folder with book marks it automatically closes other folder.

I can't find anything for chrome that works the same way.

I never use bookmarks in that sense anyway. When you start typing and get to the third letter, the bookmarks start showing under the address bar, so I don't really see the point, anymore.

I can't use Chrome because Tab in the address bar doesn't work like any other browser.

EDIT: Or maybe they finally fixed it.

One of the dumbest things in Chrome is that bookmark setup! Totally ignorant!!

What you're looking for, I think, and this is what I do on the few occasions I've used this browser, which isn't very often, is simply cut & paste bookmarks into a single column in the bookmarks manager.

1st, cut them out of the manager entirely, then delete anything that is still there, then paste the bookmarks into the empty left side of the manager.

I think I explained that correctly!
