HBO announced today that it has ordered Silicon Valley Season 3

Cool, first episode was great.  Richard trying to be rude to the potential investors was amusing.

Not the best show on TV.. but I do thoroughly enjoy it.  Wonder how the rest of the season will go.

I really enjoyed the season finale, but the fact that HBO insist on sticking with 8 episodes a season is just plain dumb. This show ain't the Entourage, so it doesn't have the "our show is full of stars, so we can only blow the budget on single figure number of episodes" conundrum. They can totally extend it to 12-16 episodes a season without compromising quality. But c'est la vie, here goes another year of waiting for more.

10 episodes you mean.  Was a good finale, I liked all the procrastination when they were supposed to delete the files.  Dumb luck. The ending wasn't much of a jump, good business sense.

8 for the first one, 10 for the 2nd one. They probably nudged it up based on 1st season's success. And I wouldn't be surprised if they had a couple of possible endings for season 2 depending on whether they'd be renewed or not.
