LaronVonBaron on Xbox 1 Reveal

Are people really that deaf? Did they not hear one of the many times MS said they were leaving the gaming bits for E3?

Yes, they are. Just like certain people enjoy to argue about hardware specs or (lack of?) always on or how used games will be handled without knowing all the details.

On the positive side it's revitalising the Gamers' Hangout. So.. carry on, folks. :p

Well, if you believe this guy you will believe in anyone. This is called letting your brains fall out.

1) Apparently Microsoft is the only company in the world that wants to make money

2) Apparently this guy has never heard of E3 where it's about games. sssssh don't tell him that games are the reason people buy consoles not TV.

3) This guy is paranoid about people watching him and yet he is on YouTube using a web cam. LOL

4) A console is a device already hooked up to your TV, why not evolve it to include TV and Internet video as well. It's a natural evolution.

5) Apparently this guy has never used Amazon, because they recommend to you things that you looked at or genres you might be interested in. It's called good marketing.

6) Twitter and Facebook is available built in from many devices out there so you can be spied on.

7) Call of Duty isn't on PS3 or PS4 if we really believe this guy.

8) He thinks Google is better. Wants them to spy on you instead of Microsoft.

9) Sony doesn't have a spy device (i.e. Web Camera) in the box for PS4 (LOL) but Microsoft does.

10) Nobody uses credit cards online either except Microsoft

11) Nobody knows Steve Ballmer's name anymore. I guess he shouldn't have name dropped his name then.

12) Apparently he failed to watch Microsoft's show because it did show a new IP from Remedy (whoops)

13) Stealing from 11 year old kids.

14) Calls the PS4 an Xbox JR (I guess he didn't see their show either).

15) Targeted ads don't exist anywhere else. Apparently he doesn't surf the Internet either. duh welcome to 2013.

This isn't the Atari 2600 anymore, you don't just stick a cartridge in and play.

Rather than focus on the obvious negatives of the new console he went completely off the rails and started talking like a conspiracy theorist :/

Also he is censoring the audience by turning off ratings and only approving comments he agrees with.

He might have some valid points about intrusive advertising and sequel after sequel of the same franchise, but the way he speaks and acts make him sound like a tinfoil conspiracy theorist who believes Balmer is trying to conquer the world by getting into his head

    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
