i never saw the boot screen before :blush...can a version be made that's closer to the neowin blue? :D:D:D:D:D

Yes, but someone would have to make it. I may attempt it in the mornin'. But for now... it's 1:30 in the morning and I need my rest. ;) So just sit tight and I'll see what I can do for ya! :D

that's more like it!

but i don't log in...will it automatically change?

also...how do i install them?

You need a program to do it... try this: Changer XP (Changes Boot and Logon Screens in XP)

WOW...i never heard of changer xp! (Y)

COOL...i appreciate anything you do

Well now that I know you like it, let me ask the question... which would you like:

1. The bitmaps so you can patch your own files (or use custom programs)

2. The pre-patched ntoskrnl.exe (a SP1 and Gold Version).

Let me know and I'll get it all ready for you. ;)

I have no idea what's best. I used that changexp program and it did strange things to my computer that too forever to fix. I've never changed a boot or login screen and don't know how to do it.

I DID try the ntoskrnl.exe and ntoskrnlSP.sp that was in neowin.zip and neowinnet.zip (from themexp) and both gave me this error message:

Hmmm... well that's just odd. :/ You may want to read this: How to make a XP Boot Screen :) I think tonight or tomorrow I'll upload those files and post links.

    • Marshall Major V Bluetooth headphones are now up to 47% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Marshall Major V in Midnight Blue is currently $89.99 on Amazon, down from $169.99. That's 47% off and $80 saved on a pair of wireless on-ear headphones from one of the most recognizable names in audio. The Major V is Marshall's take on a long-lasting everyday headphone. The headphones deliver 100+ hours of wireless playtime, which puts them in a completely different category from most Bluetooth headphones that hover around 30-40 hours. You’re charging this thing once a week at most, and with wireless charging supported, you don’t have to worry about additional cables. Marshall promises its signature sound profile, with strong bass, smooth mids, and clear highs. There’s a customizable M-button, which you can set to quickly access Spotify Tap, your EQ settings, or a voice assistant. The design is foldable and lightweight at 186 grams, so it’s easy to pack for travel. And finally, the faux leather finish gives the Major V a sleek, premium look. At $89.99, the Major V Midnight Blue is a genuinely strong buy for anyone who wants a reliable daily headphone without paying premium prices. It’s also worth mentioning that the Cream and Brown variants are also discounted to $89.99, though from a lower original price of $99.99.
