Creating NFOs/Ascii art

You know when you d/l a cracked game (obviously none of us have), and you get those .nfo files which show you the info about the crack. Well how do you make the ascii art at the top, (usually the crew's logo)... is there a piece of software??

Yes, there are software tools which convert text or images into ascii art, using different "sets" of characters or symbols. Some support color too. Search on google.com

That's Not a Picture converts images into intricate HTML tables. This application allows web authors to offer superior support for users who rely on browsers which support tables but not images. Supported input formats: PNG, TIFF, JPG, GIF and PDF. The sophisticated algorithm can compress a 56k PNG into a tiny 790k of HTML. Drag the image file onto That's Not a Picture's icon, or into the image well on the left of its window. A HTML table describing the image using cell background colours appears in the right-hand field. A large image may take some seconds to translate. The resulting table can be copied and pasted into a webpage's source. Alternatively, the "Generate header" option creates a stand-alone HTML page.

My favorite way of doing it back in the day was to whip out a copy of WordPerfect 5.1, which had box drawing stuff. Of course, I'm probably the only person on this forum who remembers and/or still has a copy of it...
