Here's another tidbit for you. IMDB now has a listing for The Flash series, and there's a casting surprise. Reveal if you dare.

Director: David Nutter (Homeland, Game of Thrones, SCC)

Writers: Arrow co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, and Geoff Johns

Kara Zor-El: Lisbeth Olofsson (Expendables 3)

Finally got around watching the episode. Lots of stuff happened and loads of hints at what's going to happen in the 2nd half of the season!

THE SPEED FORCE HAS STRUCK!!

On tonights Arrow midseason cliffhanger the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator malfunctioned during a storm and young CSI Barry Allen was hit in his lab by an energy wave, known in Flashdom as the Speed Force.

The next several Arrow episodes should be fun :)

This was the last episode with Barry though! Also, The Flash is set to air next year! :D

This show's version of Nyssa al Ghul, who's sent to hunt down Sarah Lance, will be similar to her sister Talia al Ghul, says executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. "She's the next wave of the League of Assassins that comes to Starling City. She's certainly exotic, beautiful and smart. She has some interesting secrets as well."

If you believe IMDB then episode 21 has Bruce Wayne appearing ;)

Warner Bros would never allow this even if the producers of Arrow wanted Bruce Wayne in the show. Batman is DC/Warner Bro's foremost character in terms popularity and profitability. This is underlined by the fact they are rebooting him so quickly after Nolan's highly successful Trilogy. Warner Brothers will not want to saturate the character by having him appear on TV and on the big screen.

We will however see a lot of other lesser Justice League characters on TV, but not the main two(The Boy Scout and Batsie). Maybe even Wonder Woman now.

ARROW HUNTS DOWN SHRAPNEL

? Oliver must tackle a new threat to the city when bombs start to go off in Starling City. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) discovers the person setting them off is Mark Sheffner (guest star Sean Maher), a man who goes by the nickname Shrapnel. Arrow discovers Shrapnel?s next target is Sebastian Blood?s (guest star Kevin Alejandro) ?Unity Rally? and tries to talk the alderman out of hosting it, but he refuses. Arrow sets off to stop the bombing, but Shrapnel tricks him and traps him in a bomb-laced antique store where he is unable to move without setting off the device. While Felicity helps Oliver, Diggle (David Ramsey) races to the plaza to find the bomb before it goes off. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) continues to hide his new strength from Thea (Willa Holland) but, after she witnesses his super strength in action at the rally, she demands answers. Laurel?s (Katie Cassidy) suspicions about Sebastian grow stronger once she learns that he grew up with Cyrus Gold, the man who killed Lance?s (Paul Blackthorne) partner. After Donner (guest Star Dylan Bruce) refuses to help her investigate, she turns to Arrow (Stephen Amell) for help. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Keto Shimizu (#210).

DCCU talk begins at the 15:35 mark.

"Of course...I would like them to have a shared universe...We are trying to put them on a level where if Warner Brothers and DC Comics decided they wanted to them to be a part of the movie, people would buy it"

"I think that the characters we are creating in our universe can stand next to Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot."

Yes [Arrow will follow what happened to Barry], and Oliver won't be too happy about the repercussions of Barry's accident, since they will draw Felicity out of Starling City when he needs her the most. Olicity fans, brace yourself for a devastating lovers' quarrel.

    • If you don't care to read what I said, then you prove my point. Maybe written media is beyond your attention span. Titles are not summaries my friend.
    • Nobody asked... in fact, I said "I don't care about political leanings"
    • TLDR. Here is a far better title (just a basic example): Windows 11 26H2 to allow disabling Web search results
    • Restore will get my vote, only if to see if things are any different, doubt it though but Labour and Conservatives too out of touch and same thing over and over and over…, Lib Dem who?
    • There is nothing wrong with this title. You have completely missed the plot when it comes to "clickbait." The issue was never that a title tries to entice you to click, that is how titles have worked for over 100 years. The issue is when the title subverts expectations, getting you to click expecting something that isn't there. The classic clickbait example is "Boyfriend caught cheating, what happens next will shock you," then what happened next is the girlfriend was upset...which is probably the least shocking outcome imaginable. If sounds like what you want is for the titles to be a collection of 10-word summaries that you can skim, get the just of the story, and only click if you want more details. That is not, never has been, and never will be what titles are. You can go all the way back to print newspapers during the great depression and see the same thing. The newspaper was locked in a vending machine, all you can see is the headline, you choose to put in 5¢ to buy the paper and read the rest if you want. Those headlines were written in a way to sell the paper, not just to provide a summery. Here are two actual headlines from that time, "Wall Street Lays an Egg," or "Stocks Hit Bottom?" Maybe you'd say something like "it was wrong then and it's still wrong now." Okay, fine opinion to have, but it isn't like Neowin is doing something unjurnalistic, they are just following the age-old standards for written media.
