Congrats! :yes:

Likes are quite a strange system, as certain types of posts attract them considerably more than others. For instance, most of my likes comes from political / opinion posts and from sharing pictures in the Random Pictures Thread. Over the past couple of years I've managed to rack up 2,851 likes, which still pales in comparison to someone like Rappy. :cry:

Congrats V-Tech!

I don't think the likes feature has been implemented for 8 years though :/

The likes feature has been around since January 2010, after the forum upgrade which caused the forum go down for a couple of days. There have been a couple of periods where the likes feature has been disabled.

We should never compare our selves to Rappy, unless you are not human like him. :o

The Random Pictures Thread is an easy way to get likes. :p When the likes feature was first implemented it was only used in the technical forums. I'm not sure whether it was decided to be used in all forums, or whether it changed as a result of an upgrade and wasn't changed back.

I think it would be better if it would go back to what it used to be. Allowing to "like" something only in technical/news forums.

Would make the "likes" more special....

      The original word arts were far more awesome! With their own preconfigured fill patterns, 3D layout, etc, with options to fine-tune their size and colors as desired. I especially loved the ones circled below and still miss them from my primary school years: I frankly use them less these days 'cause the new one isn't as straightforward fine art as what we originally had, taking time and effort to get back to the same graphics quality as the original offered, which I simply don't have enough of for merely fine-tuning my presentation titles. Same with the built-in picarts selection. Bring back the original pre-configured options for word art then I'll be using them far more frequently in my presentations even today.
