Visual C# tutorial and guides

I am looking for a website that has guides and tutorials specifically for Visual C#. Something with a lesson format with step by step guides is preferred, not just a reference like what the official site is. Anyone know of a good one?

From what I was explained, Visual C# refers to C# programming specifically for Visual Studio. Same difference between C++ and Visual C++.

I wasn't aware there was any REAL C# going on outside of VS.  Either way, just asking :)

There isn't all the much. TestComplete, an automated testing tool, uses C# as an option for its scripting. Main reason I know the difference.

That said I heartily recommend Rob Miles` Yellow Book: this is perhaps the best introduction to programming I've ever seen for any language.

Buy that, it has lots of math problems which is nice

Try the MS Virtual Academy: it's not for the novice, but if you have some basic knowledge of fundamentals in programming then it can be a good value.

very thorough, very detailed in the examples.  And to be honest, every C# programmer, heck, every Windows programmer should have read at least 1 book by those two guys.
