COMPLETE BANN FROM INTERNET!!!!! THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW HOW THE FIGHT WENT, SOME OFF US ARE WAITING TO WATCH THE FIGHT. PUT THE RESULT OF A FIGHT AS THE TITTLE WHY DONT WE....

I apologize if I ruined it for you, but, im pretty sure if you turn on your tv,radio, went out in public, or browsed any other popular site on the internet,,you would have heard about the results. rule #1 if you're trying not to get spoiled,is never expose yourself to such information in the first place. this was a live event, and why cant people discuss it when it happens? I will refrain posting such threads in the future, but I did not see such a rule in the guidelines for this section.

Rule number 2: Don't associate with asshats who would put the result in the title.

Not that I object to the mistake. I do however object to you suggesting he shouldn't be browsing a tech forum for fear of reading an MMA fight result >.>

The post-fight interview he said he was tired. Tired of having the belt & the stuff that goes with it, more to the point. My guess is that he moves to a different weight class. There's been a push for a long time for a GSP vs Silva fight -- and both have said that it was a fight neither man wanted, for several reasons.

Interesting to see where Silva goes from here.

You've got to remember, Silva may have the experience of everything that comes with being an MMA fighter other than coping with losing. He hasnt had to deal with losing for a long time, naturally he is going to be down. Give it a few weeks, he'll rest up, get that hunger back, no doubt have an immediate rematch, win the title then probably retire from middleweight. Light heavyweight is his only viable option forward for tougher tests.

Um no, i did stay away from sites i knew would tell me the results and we dont have anything on the radio or tv here in NEW ZEALAND, that would tell us the results ( i also stayed away from PAID news or sports channels). I came to a tech site about computers and windows far away from anything to do with sports, i didnt go into the sports section, i went onto MINI SPY, where you post of the results showed up.

LOL at your rule #1 Im sorry but am i not on a computer base site, last time i look its not mmaWIN is it. You trying to make it sound like you didnt do anything wrong is the biggest joke on here! If you had just said sorry didnt know or think ok then move on but no you telling me to this rule #1 c**p.

Maybe i should just invest in something like this,

    • I think the car analogy is more this: Left hand drive, basic commands on the left side of the infotainment screen. Right hand drive, basic commands on the right side of the infotainment screen. Granted, you're not swapping between the two often so it's doesn't really work. But it's to do with the proximity of you (your mouse, or the driver) to the controls.
    • I mean, the old one was broken and so stupidly complex for many users, so I don't see that as a feasible option. A context menu needs to be simple to use, and for me the Windows 11 style actually worked really well for me, and many others. I used to have to scroll the damn context menu just to get to "file properties" in Windows 10. That was not a good experience, and I'm sure you'd agree. What they're trying to do is make it the best of both worlds, as clearly you'd prefer the Win10 style. I'm curious how they're going to do this.
    • The "Show more options" has its place, as does the simpler context menu, but it should perhaps be a separate fly-out rather than relaunching the entire, old context menu. The old context menu was getting absurd in Windows 10. Often I'd have to make the context menu scroll just to get to "File properties" on my old laptop. Even without much installed, the amount of items was just too much. It's a context menu, not a "do all" menu. Making it configurable is fraught with challenges too, so I'm interested to see how Microsoft tackles this one.
    • I don't hate the new menus, I am not a fan of the lack of features and how they went live when they clearly are not complete. The menu itself presents much better than the previous - but what's lacking (IMO) is: 1) Any kind of automated manipulation such as: "this goes on the new menu because you use this feature more often on this filetype" "this is rarely used and will fall back to the old menu" 2) Any kind of user manipulation such as: "a UI to add/remove/order items to the new menu"
