Gandhi1
Since downloading the iOS 7 beta on my iPhone I have really become a fan of the "flat" design and really like how the concept designs are looking for iOS. You guys have to really check them out http://techpie.net/2013/07/20/ios-7-a-step-in-the-right-direction/

Rippleman
guess who you can thank for introducing the trend? i think the earliest "flat" inspiration goes all the way back to the 1920's with corporate catalog designing, not sure who was very first though... shockz, Shaun N., benthebear and 3 others 6 Share
Fourjays Veteran Posted July 21, 2013 Veteran Share Posted July 21, 2013 Wow, those are some really nice looking app design concepts. :o IMHO, the people who've created these design have "got" the whole reasoning and logic behind flat design far better than Microsoft and WP8 developers have. And I say that as an owner of an HTC 8x.

And I really like my iP5.

neo158
They really do look good, that's coming from a Windows Phone user. I do think the Facebook app redesign looks very much like the WP version, not that it's a bad thing though.

User6060
im totally gonna miss the old style. thats when artists could be creative with creating the illusion of interactivity with a 2D UI. Now its just 2D. gradients and shadows, embossed and bezels for the win. more design is more design. less design is not more.

Gandhi1
I don't really like the Safari icon in iOS 7 wish the design was more like this http://techpie.net/2013/07/21/i-wish-this-was-the-safari-icon-in-ios-7/
Wannes
The "flat" design is really starting to grow on me. Those Twitter and Facebook concepts look amazing. Since using Spendee on my iPhone (still running iOS 6) I've accepted the new, flat look.
