So, no one made a thread, and no one talked in the thread much last year, but I'm gonna make one for this year anyway. Maybe I'll try to keep the thread going and get some of you to stick around and chat.

TDs and Beer vs CharismasCheeseheads

Bryant's Beaters vs Mumble's Minions

soonerfreak vs Goon Squad

bguy_1986 vs Redzone 2 Endzone

Best of luck to everyone... well, not really. Just me. To hell with the rest of you. I'll see you in the championship game!

Either way, I'm just glad to have the NFL back!

I think everyone rejoined from last year, so we never had any openings this year. On another message board I chat on they have an upper and lower division league. Maybe we could do that if more people wanted to play, but it's a little later for this year.

Manning got 66.28 points in my other league. That's absolutely ridiculous. Our QB points are usually 20-30 with 40 something being a high and I don't even know if I've ever seen over 50. I hadn't checked his points until you said that. I have Demaryius Thomas in both leagues though!

I'm playing in a Little League: we just choose the 16 winners and score

from that. I think it's called Yahoo Pick'em.

Anyhow, I'm at 12/16 right now. Tampa Bay and Pittsburg really let me down.  :(

I'm in the lead by one. Just need Washington and Houston to win tonight and I win

this week. Woot!

Yeah, I've done the Pick em the last few years as well. This year I joined ESPN's version of a pickem game, playing the spread this time as well. Let's just say it's a bit different, I didn't do so well the first week, haha.

So I go the most points this week in the Neowin league, but I got the least points in my money league! Just my luck!

Well, here's my picks for Week 2.

01. New England

02. Atlanta

03. Carolina

04. Chicago

05. Green Bay

06. Miami

07. Dallas (My Hometeam)

08. Philadelphia

09. Baltimore

10. Houston

11. Detroit

12. New Orleans

13. Oakland

14. Denver

15. San Francisco

16. Cincinnati

Would love to join in but my team is in shambles. :( So many injuries in the first game that it is unreal. I was really looking forward to this year but now I am a sad panda. I know the Pittsburgh Steelers can adapt and overcome injuries, but this year it will be especially difficult. Maybe they will surprise me.

Aw man I've missed out on this xD Just started playing fantasy this year on CBS because by the time I decided to play (Sunday) most of the other leagues had shut heh. Looking forward to week 1 2's games now :P In other news, kinda glad I stayed away from Brady and his rookie receivers.

In fairness, the throws weren't dead on. A great quote I read the other day said "effort isn't a zero-sum game" - just because the receivers were to blame for the drops doesn't mean the passes couldn't have been better.  I'm not saying Tebow's mechanics have rubbed off on him during the offseason and his accuracy's completely off, but he could have been more accurate in the passes.

I felt bad for Brady. Most of his throws were dead on, but his receiving team sucked ass.

That game should NOT have been that close. The Jets defense didn't stop the passing

game... those receivers did.

I didn't, I was playing against him, haha. I wanted an all around terrible game and I got it!

Should have posted this before but I'm a slacker...

I'm really surprised I can't even get any of the people that are in this league to comment here. I'm not even sure what members some of the teams match up to except for the obvious ones. We should have done a pick 'em league as well. Maybe next year?

I have a question for you Fantasy folks:

Where can I look up total Fantasy points per NFL team?

For example, normal Fantasy Football has you drafting players from various teams...

but let's say I draft the entire Atlanta Falcons team. Is there a site I can pull up the

Atlanta Falcons and see every point made by their players?

http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/leaders will give you an idea, but bear in mind that different leagues do have different scoring systems (slightly), for example some give 6 points for a passing TD, most give 4 points. There's also the two main flavours of fantasy (Standard vs. PPR [point per reception]) scoring to bear in mind, so someone like Wes Welker who catches a high volume of passes will score more points in PPR than in standard scoring.

TLDR; there's no one-stop-shop, but the link above will give you a rough idea.

    • Halo: Campaign Evolved is out next month with new prequel missions by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft offered a look at the upcoming Halo: Combat Evolved remake at the Xbox Games Showcase today. The Halo Studios-developed title is not only getting a fully remade campaign, but also new content in the form of a fresh story arc featuring Sgt. Johnson. Fans don't have to wait long, either, as Halo: Campaign Evolved is releasing next month. The new content joining the original campaign consists of three new missions that have the name "Operation: METEORITE" attached to the full project. Aside from ground-based combat, space missions are also included here. These prequel missions will take players to events set before the original campaign, where the Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson duo team up for a clandestine UNSC operation aboard a Covenant research vessel. The studio says that the story for these missions was written in collaboration with award-winning sci-fi author Troy Denning. "Operation: METEORITE gives players a chance to expand their experience with new locations, new enemy variants, more weapons from across the Halo series, and new ways to play within the Halo sandbox, all while getting to spend more time with beloved characters and witness a new event that adds to the legacy of their heroic history," adds Halo Studios. Today's new trailer showed off the game in action, including the new missions. Catch it below. Halo Campaign Evolved is coming out on July 28, 2026. It will be available across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 with a $49.99 price tag. A digital premium edition will also be available for $69.99, offering five days of early access, extra in-game skins, and a digital art collection. A $199.99 physical Collector's Edition is also incoming, bringing a Master Chief statue, a Cortana chip, a Steelbook case, and more.
    • To give context to everybody, I bought about 2 sets of RAM, ddr4, 3200, 64 gb, 2 years ago. It costed me 150 usd for each set. If you buy RAM now you only incentivate companies to sell you expensive stuff, as Nvidia did.
    • KillerPDF 1.4.2 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.4.2 changelog: What's new PDF form filling. Interactive PDF forms now render their fields (text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons) as live controls. Fill them in directly and save — field values are written back into the PDF. PDF outline (bookmark) navigation. A new OUTLINES tab in the sidebar displays the document's bookmark tree. Click any entry to jump to that page. The sidebar auto-fits its width to the longest entry on open and can be dragged wider; switching back to PAGES snaps to the pages-mode width. Fixed Page rotation no longer reverts after saving. Rotations applied via the sidebar context menu now persist correctly through the save pipeline. Copied text words were out of order on PDFs where glyphs are stored in non-reading order (Issue #66). Text extraction now sorts words by position and uses a dynamic line-grouping threshold so both drag-select and Select All produce correctly ordered output. PDFs with malformed or non-standard XRef tables now open in read-only mode instead of showing "Invalid entry in XRef table" and failing entirely.
