I actually thought before the game "Hell, I can live with a tie-game here", because although we're a game back, we now have no need to worry about the tiebreakers held over us (unless someone else ties too). Sure a W would have been nicer, but if Rodgers comes back this week then we're in the best position of anyone in the North to win the division.

This week has been a good week for Packers fans :P

Booooooo Packers!!! Booo tie game! Oh well, as my mom (a Packers fan said), at least they didn't lose another, which is about all I can say for the Vikings too, haha.

That was my thought exactly: better a tie than yet another loss. We are seriously struggling without Rodgers. Why oh why didn't they put Flynn in the game sooner than they did??

On the other hand, I have AP on my other fantasy team, so it wasn't all bad... >.>

I'm just gonna say it, my team is so stacked I have no idea who to play.

I hope you guys are ready for some playoffs! And good luck to those fighting for a spot this week. No one is eliminated still!

I beat Charisma Cheeseheads and knocked him down a seed in the playoffs.   :D

And now I get to face him again in the playoffs.   :|

Charisma isn't a "him".  :D

But thanks for that win!  Moves me up to the top spot.

btw, we have a lot of Wisconsinites in this league.

Oh, you live in Milwaukee too, cool.  Fantasy Football is the only thing keeping me interested in football this year with how the Packers season has been going.

Yeah, it's been a rough month for us.  I'm almost hoping that Rodgers doesn't come back anymore this year so that they can finish off the season with a bad record, fire a bunch of the useless coaches (definitely Capers), and then get some decent draft picks.

It's amazing that Rodgers can single-handedly make the entire team look good.

I'm so bitter this week. The 49ers defence crashed after 3 solid quarters, and a couple of my studs laid eggs (Beast Mode, I'm looking at you). Really annoying xD

As for Rodgers, I was kind of thinking the same think Astra, but we actually have a very decent chance of making the playoffs still. The Lions have 4 trap games to go, and if Rodgers comes back he only really has to beat Dallas and Detroit to get us in. If it weren't for that, I'd be seriously considering supporting us losing from here on out :P

Yeah that's going to be a hard call.  The playoffs are definitely still possible, but I'd hate for them to make it and then ignore all the problems they've had over the past 4 games.  If, in some miracle, they make the playoffs and do well, I don't think they'll fire all the people that should.

Well everyone, we've reached the end of the regular season. Here are the final regular season standings for 2013:

Of course with our final week come our first two eliminations, aessap and Bryant's Beaters. Better luck next year, guys! Next week, 4 more.

I also want to recognize Astra.Xtreme for a 7 game win streak right now! Well done, hopefully it ends soon though.

Here's the recap to last weeks games and the matchups for week 1 of the playoffs!

Week 13 Results

TDs and Beer 193 vs soonerfreak 149

Bryant's Beaters 137 vs Astra.Xtreme 141

Mumble's Minions 134 vs bguy_1986 135

CharismasCheeseheads 140 vs Goon Squad 142

aessap 83 vs Redzone 2 Endzone 96

Week 1 Playoff Matchups

1 Astra.Xtreme 10-3 vs 8 Redzone 2 Endzone 4-9

2 meetings so far this year, both have gone in Astra.Xtreme's favor (171-123, 149-125). Is the third time the charm for Redzone 2 Endzone to knock off our #1 seed?

4 Mumble's Minions 8-5 vs 5 soonerfreak 7-6

This series is split 1-1 in the regular season with week 3 to soonerfreak, 146-107, and the week 12 to Mumble's Minions, 141-127.

3 TDs and Beer 8-4-1 vs 6 bguy_1986 6-6-1

The long awaited rematch and tie-breaker after week 6's 105-105 tie in the only meeting this year. This is the one that matters!

2 CharismasCheeseheads 9-4 vs 7 Goon Squad 5-8

And finally a rematch of last week's 142-140 upset by Goon Squad. In week 4 CharismasCheeseheads won 142-138 though, making the series 1-1 for the year in two very close games.

I can't believe I lost in my money league.... THE PERSON I WAS PLAYING HAD TWO 0s AND A -1!!!!

I hate the snow. And Cam Newton...

Now Demarco better not go crazy and beat me here too! If I lose to a Sooner I'd be devastated! Hopefully I'm safe though, but it's not over until it's over!

Edit: ALSHON!!!!!

I had a sneaky feeling Burleson might go off big this week and was really, really tempted to play him. That's one hell of a bullet dodged right there xD Hilarious match though, I really enjoyed watching it, although I couldn't stop thinking of how much fun you could have with the "I f-ing love cocaine" meme during it :P

Wait... Astra, you lost?! Killed by the snow just like my other league. I feel for you on that one.

#1 down, ladies and gentlemen.

Ready for round 3 Charisma??

Ouch! Yeah that was a dud at the worst time.  :pinch:

Also got knocked out of the playoffs in one of my money leagues, but still alive in the other bigger money league.  Top 4 of 12 made the playoffs, so I was lucky to sneak in.

Quick question for you guys - this is my first season playing Fantasy Football and I've made the playoffs in the only league I'm in, which I'm pretty chuffed about. How would you reckon my current matchup looks?

I know Lynch and VJax didn't practice this week, which has me worried as hell. I have Stacy to swap Lynch for if needed, but my replacement options for VJax if needed are Jennings, Crabtree and Burleson (leaning towards Jennings). My other bench slot is the Pats DST.

I'm also kinda annoyed that the other playoff matchup, one guy hasn't even set his lineup so he has RG3 in there and Welker, neither of whom are playing xD

    • Thank god they got rid of the disgusting looking sidebars, and the corner radius looks much better, too. Two things I hated on day one, and never got used to.
    • JetBrains launches Rider 2026.2 EAP 5, bringing several AI improvements by David Uzondu JetBrains has released the fifth EAP version of Rider 2026.2, bringing a faster startup flow with the new non-modal startup screen and quality-check hooks for Claude Code and Codex. In the latest EAP release, Rider now has newly bundled "quality-check" hooks that run background tests on code edits before the external agent proceeds. For example, after Claude Code rewrites a class, Rider immediately triggers a PostToolUse hook that analyzes the code for syntax errors and formatting warnings. It then passes those findings back to the model as feedback, allowing the agent to fix its own output before finalizing the task. If Rider detects compilation errors, the IDE prevents the agent from treating the task as complete, while minor formatting warnings simply help guide the model toward better output. The "Explain with AI" feature can now tackle tricky build errors directly from the console, helping .NET developers who frequently wrestle with multi-targeting failures and MSBuild errors. JetBrains introduced Explain with AI back in the 2024.1 release cycle. With this feature, instead of forcing developers to copy long diagnostics into a separate chat window, Rider now lets you trigger these explanations directly from the error source. In similar EAP news, JetBrains recently opened the first EAP for IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2, with features that appeal to both those who are into AI-assisted coding and those who prefer "classic" manual development. For manual developers, the release adds revamped dependency completion for Maven and Gradle build scripts, which pulls data directly from the local cache to suggest relevant versions. It also brings the Spring Debugger update, displaying security indicators next to endpoints to visualize secured routes during runtime. In addition to database migration tools for Flyway and Liquibase, this build introduces a Hibernate debugger that shows the exact SQL or HQL queries that the framework plans to execute, letting developers jump directly to the Java code that triggered them.
