It's Microsoft, it's going to have a name like "Microsoft Windows Phone Voice Activated Digital Assistant". They really stopped doing cute names after Bob.

yeah after that whole Metro/Modern/whatever UI... anything is possible :/

As much as I want Cortana... they need a two syllable word like Siri or Xbox or bing.

Not to mention the "cultural sensitivities" of some countries that might object to a nude female form in their phone.

Lol its just a name. They won't actually be including a nude female AI.

Personally and maybe its me but the name needs to be something that roll off the tong, too many syllables in Cortana.  For all you know Microsoft will just call the assistant Bing....

No, IIRC Kumo was one of the finalists for name.
