It always blows my mind when people have like 30+ apps on their phone. One of my friends got over 250! I'm like WTF  :ermm:

Everything seems working fine so far though from the ones my friends use.

I don't see any problems with having 100+ apps on any platform. I have lots of apps, but certainly not 100+ (50-75 range)

Everything has worked okay so far. I'm just peeved my ipod touch 5g has gotten slower, but everything seems to be working. The only weird thing is it shut down randomly on me (after a full night of charging) while I was playing music in my car (hooked up to my car's USB port/Lightning connector). I'm thinking maybe a clean start could help some of my problems.

I've had over 30 probably over 50 apps on my phone at one time, but (mind you) I wasn't really using all of them.  Occasionally I delete all of my apps or setup my iPhone "as a new phone" just so I can download what I need as I need it.  That easier than sorting it all out.

But when you have apps for all the local stores Starbucks, Sam's Club, Walgreens, etc. and then apps for online shopping: Amazon, ebay.  Then all the apps to track your finances.  Apps to remote control your computer.  Apps to access all the various music services (I typically have about 5 of those).  And however many social media apps.  They all add up....

I updated yesterday - pretty damned soon wished I hadn't, so tried rolling back and guess what... iTunes crashes if you even attempt to remove this POS off your phone and I tried twice with the same effect.

Most of my day is spent listening to podcasts in the background, but Apple have turned what was a great podcasting experience into a comprehensive nightmare - gigabytes of podcasts that I have accumulated over the years have been deleted forever from my hardrive and phone without even asking - new podcasts that have been downloaded are not synced correctly to my iphone - I had 80 odd episodes of one podcast I was listening to and it only puts the latest episode on my phone and sod the rest.

So add the podcast app to your list - I thought it was rubbish when they first released it, but now Apple decided if you want to listen to podcasts you have to use their lame POS app and its complete and utter rubbish - well done Apple you will never get me back a customer ever again.

    • I cannot believe this is a news post from Neowin. This should be embarassing, coming from a "senior editor". Is it your first day using Windows?! Maybe it's time to find a new Windows news site.
    • It's from having Core Isolation enabled in Windows security settings, which is a good thing!  It's letting you know it's not loading the Bonjour module as it's not signed in a way it would prefer. Bonjour was most likely installed along with iTunes. Feel free to disable that message using the checkbox.
    • I'm looking forward to starting over online. I have no reason to keep all the money, cars, rank after 13 years. Now if I can just move my character itself and nothing else. I would be fine with that. But I doubt they would do a setup that way.
