Basically Neobond posted a new forum entry --- rather than sending a simple private message --- thanking DonC in everyone's name --- which is absurd --- for subscribing again.

Two reasons,

 

1. He's the boss and can do what he wants...

 

B. Doing so in public highlights the fact you can throw a few sheckles Stevens way and subscribe. It's a subtle marketing trick that usually works.
