I get the CUDA core argument, but shrinking the memory bandwidth and the amount of memory, will just add confusion and complexity.
You are right there probably should have been a 5090 and a 5090 TI. That had a CUDA core count between those two values and maybe even lesser memory (not bandwidth) but then again we didn’t have a memory crisis a year ago.
FWIW, the RSS feed URL I was using for Neowin news until it broke... https://www.neowin.net/news/rss/ ... is now working again in both the QuiteRSS and RSS Guard apps.
And for consistency the workaround URL I had started using instead... http://feeds.feedburner.com/neowin-main ...is now broken in both those apps.
What market does this serve? If they want to introduce cards with less memory bandwidth. Introduce a new product line. This proposed name would just be confusing to consumers
