Atomic Wanderer Chicken
I gasped when I learned how much money the government wasted spent to create Obamacare website. CNN said on TV that the Dept. of Health and Human Services spent $500,000,000 to make the Obamacare site :|. So the government wasted spent $500,000,000 on a website that isn't fully functional? Is $500,000,000 a truly realistic price for the healthcare.gov website or did the gov't recklessly blow tax payer's money? http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/500-million-obamacare-website-bust-20631716
123456789A
I would love to get $500,000,000 to make a web site. I'd even put in some animated gifs and a <marquee>! psmoked 1 Share
xendrome
Facebook only spends an estimated $50 million a year on data centers, and they handle a ton of traffic, so just to give you some perspective on how much the govt. spent on the implementation of this... it's insane. TAZMINATOR
It could be included with 'Thank you for the job done' tip. For example, a guy went to the restaurant and ate dinner then paid the bill and left the $17,000 (i think.. I couldn't remember exactly amount) for the waitress. Lord Method Man
I would love to get $500,000,000 to make a web site. I'd even put in some animated gifs and a <marquee>! Man I would have <blink> tags all over the place and a catchy MIDI background theme playing as well. thomastmc 1 Share
Atomic Wanderer Chicken
If the gov't was smart, they could have made sites for individual states running with servers dedicated to each state.
+virtorio MVC Posted October 22, 2013 MVC Share Posted October 22, 2013 I don't really see the problem. The specification clearly said it should work to the same standard as any other government service, and it does.
rfirth
If the gov't was smart, they could have made sites for individual states running with servers dedicated to each state. How would that have kept costs down? Anyway, that's how it was supposed to work. Republican states simply refused. It wasn't supposed to be one website for all. thomastmc 1 Share
