Hey, Dushmany there's this great game here in America, it's called the most dangerous game.  Loads of fun!   Wanna play?    :p

I'm just kidding, well sorta, naw, not really.  I'll send you a plane ticket.   ;)

Very nice. I can't wait to get one. It'll be two years. I needed extra money and had to sell all the guns and ammo I had. I really want a dark earth AR.

If I had to i'd sell all my guns except my AR. Id stand on a street corner and sell my body before I sold my AR lol.

I want one too, BUT the one I want is illegal here in the Socialist State of CT, came to be as part of the usual overreaction to a horrible event that didn't actually have an AR involved in it

A lot of manufacturers sell "compliant" versions of their rifles that are changed up to be legal in states like California where they consider a pocket knife a concealed deadly weapon.  Not sure which one you want, but I'm a fan of Windham Weaponry's build quality since I bought one of their rifles, and you can check out what differences there are in the "compliant" versions of their rifles on their website.  Sometimes it's as easy as requiring a "bullet button" on the magazine release so you can't release it with your hand, or welding on the muzzle brake or flash suppressor so you can't put something else on it, etc.  Here's the page listing all of their rifles, including their "compliant" ones.

Yep most of the commie states make you have a pinned and welded flash hider and a pined stock and restrict mag size to 10 rounds. I don't think CT out right banned them.

So just out of curiosity, you didn't use any weird type of paint or anything?  Did you just close the dust cover and tape around it to keep paint out of there?  You did a really nice job of painting yours, it looks professionally done.  I've thought about painting mine to protect the factory finish cause' I've gotten a few dings in it, plus a forest green or earthy brown would blend in better in the woods around here.  Did you take it apart and paint the pieces individually to prevent things from sticking together or did it work fine by just spraying it on there?

Depending on the ahem... condition of your organs you could probably make a killing good amount of money :D

Only problems is that if you want to actually use your gun, you'll need most of your bits. I suppose you could start with a kidney though.... :doctor:

Yes I know you might  be wanting to sell your body in a ... different way. See mafia_14 for help & advice on that

I didn't tape anything down or take anything off except for the stock and mags. I would suggest keeping the mag in the magwell though you don't want to paint the whole thing because it makes a tight fit once its painted. But other than that I just sprayed the whole thing down with the light brown and then used a old plastic container sprayed some green into it and then took my sponge brush and dipped it in the container and dabbed it on the rifle. Did the same with the darker color as well. then after it dried I applied several coats of clear coat.

Clear coat is KEY, if you dont clear coat it, it will scratch off really easily. If you scratch hard enough and repeatably, you will still scratch the paint off but its harder to do with the clear coat.

Ahh quoted my own post lol, I can tell its time for bed lol

Here is the video where I got my idea from. His paint job is different from mine, i did however use some of the same techniques

Looks very good! Question though, what is the thing in front of the fire selector above the trigger? My dad's AR15A4 does not have it.

They're KNS Anti Rotational pins.

    • Can you still click his nose in the about box?
    • In that case this product has no value to me. I'd rather use older Creative SB that were better in my opinion or onboard audio chip.
