Seems simple enough.  I'm not getting this day one though.  I'll continue with the rechargeable batteries I currently use with me 360.  I'll get one of these at some point though.

pretty stabdard fair if the x1 is never really off itll have a usb pass through charge thatll charge even when its off unless you unplug it so no beef really

I did the whole rechargeable battery thing with my 360 for a while but they never last as long as just using normal AA batteries in my experience.   That said I'll probably pick up a play and charge kit a bit later on, I like how they managed to redo the underside and shrink the space that was taken up by the battery from the 360 version.
