Idiot smashes brand new PS4 @ launch

Recommended Posts

What pisses me off isn't the PS4 he destroyed.  I don't give a flyin' ###### about that.

What actually pisses me off in that video is that he's doing that in a parking garage, with plenty of cars around, and he's got parts flying everywhere.  At around 0:40, there's clearly a large chunk of it that goes hitting the gray mini-van and bouncing off of it.  Was that plastic?  Metal?  Did it leave any mark?

He can damage his property all he wants, but doing the same to other people's is crossing the line.

Also, did he leave everything on the ground for cars to run over and embed parts in their tires?

I will never purchase another Sony product again after going through so many faulty Walkmans, televisions and consoles over the years but if one was given to me I would never do that.  That is just crazy.  :o

Bush are the same, probably worse, TV's lasting 3 months, D.A.B. radio not even 10 months, MP3 player a few months.

It's the chuck away society we are forced to live in.

I would be quite happy to pay ?1200 for a T.V. if it will last 20 years rather than ?400 and it lasting 3 months.

There has been one for pretty much every console, especially got popular with the launch of the 360 onwards. Im more surprised at the volume of people in the thread who are shocked this happened

Why does every thread have to turn into an expectation that some trolls are going to derail it? Jeez :/

Plastic boxes are serious business sir. ;)

As for the vid, it's a good thing he didn't do that in front of my car. With the pieces flying everywhere, I'd tear him a new one.

I find it sad that someone wastes so much money for nothing, just for a smirk of "haha, look at me, i'm breaking something that should get me lots of attention". Child's mentality at best.  :/

seriously? People donate the money for it. Its common sense

seriously? People donate the money for it. Its common sense

there is nothing common sense about it. It doesn't matter where the money comes from, it can come from charity, your mother, someone else it doesn't matter. Its plank stupid to do something like this, jesus are people really so pathetic now a days?

Reminds me of the "will it blend" craze from a couple of years ago. Madness.

Bit different. 'Will it blend' was marketing for a range of food blenders, this is just some guy who's... well to be honest, a dick.

Yeah, people offended by this really need to take a step back and think a little.  Stop caring what other people do or don't do since it doesn't affect you at all.  We may not agree with what he did, but don't be the fun police raining down on his form of entertainment.

    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
