graeme_7799, the camera has full manual controls allowing you to adjust aperture, shutter speed and so on. You have to use a tripod to take shots like that or they'll be blurry as hell. You sit the camera somewhere looking in the direction of passing cars, set the shutter speed to 15 seconds and press the shutter release button. The camera takes a 15 second exposure which isn't enough to capture much light from the road as it's very dark, but car lights are captured well and leave trails across the image.

I'm gonna have to remember to take my camera up my girlfriend's house. She as a beautiful cat which has been in some very very cuts poses, perfect for picture taking, but I never have my camera at the right time. Maybe I should invest in a compartment inside my leg or arm for storing my camera and I will never be without it.

if ya got a case for you camera, just wear it like a fanny pack and you'll always be prepared

*note to self: take own advice!*

your light pix are really neat...i need to try that

Can I make a request in here? :)

Could someone take a couple pics for me? I want one of a beach. No people, just the sand and water, preferably a clear sunny day. I also wanted one of the sky. A simple average sky pic, clear, can be a little cloudy, sun can be in it if it doesn't flare or blind.

I'd like them at 1024x768 but they can be bigger.

Thanks! :D

My tripod just broke. The cheap plastic bendy leg free tripod that they sent with my camera just snapped as I tried to uncrew it, and the thread is still left inside the camea and I can't get it out. Grrr

you need to see if you can get someone who knows what they are doing to drill it out for you...it should be possible to get it out w/o damaging the threads....maybe take it back to the shop from where you got it

good luck

I managed to get it out. There was a small ridge on the piece of plastic which snapped off and I used a small allen key to turn it out. Only problem is now I don't have a tripod :( I'll be lost without that. I'll have to buy myself a new one sometime. I liked the one I had though; a small one with bendy legs so it's easy to point at any position and I can bend it in half and slip it in my pocket to take it anywhere.

*WHEW* i'm glad you you got it fixed (Y)

i don't know if you have access to walmart in england, but i ordered this adorable little tripod from them online. my s400 has the mtg hole off center so i have to make sure that the camera is balanced off the middle tripod leg...but it's not that difficult to set it up that way. best buy (if you have access to it) also has a mini available but what i saw was like 2x the price of the walmart one.

good luck!

Everyone with a Camra phone post all you pics Here.....I just got mine Friday...LGX6000

http://getitnow.vzwshop.com/html/imgs/phon...G_VX6000_lg.jpg

I got the same phone :). Please tell me, did it come with a USB cable? or did you have to email the photo to yourself? because I didn't get any USB cable :(

Thanks.

BTW, is that a pic of the NYC subway ;)

I wanna get one so bad, too bad I live in the boondocks and GSM doens't work at my house...

It works a couple miles away though...

what service do you have? the LG6000 is on verizon (CDMA), Sprint (CDMA) has camera fones, Alltel (CDMA) has an LG cam fon now also. so, you dont need GSM to get a cam fone....

Thank graeme, I'm still enjoying my new toy.... lol... I just start learning how to take a good picture about a month ago from those online forums. I never thought I would enjoy taking pictures before. ;)

Here is an action shot I took when my friend practised his swing. You can see the golf ball is still floating in the air.

    • Microsoft's fast coding model MAI-Code-1-Flash comes to Copilot Business and Enterprise by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft’s recently announced MAI-Code-1-Flash model is now generally available to GitHub Copilot Business and Copilot Enterprise customers. With this support, organizations can have more centralized policy controls and billing while finally being able to use Microsoft’s lightweight, first-party coding model. According to GitHub’s announcement, Business and Enterprise plan administrators must enable the MAI-Code-1-Flash policy in Copilot settings before developers can access the model. Microsoft says that MAI-Code-1-Flash is for fast, iterative coding work rather than the most demanding architectural or debugging tasks. GitHub’s official model comparison page says that the model is great for "general-purpose coding and writing," while it excels at fast, accurate code completions and explanations Microsoft introduced MAI-Code-1-Flash on June 2 as part of a broader collection of internally developed MAI models. GitHub subsequently expanded support to Copilot CLI, the Copilot cloud agent, GitHub.com chat, GitHub Mobile, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Eclipse, and Xcode, but said support for managed Business and Enterprise customers was still on the way. In Microsoft’s own benchmark testing, MAI-Code-1-Flash scored 51.2% on SWE-Bench Pro, compared with 35.2% for Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5. Microsoft also claimed that the model used up to 60% fewer tokens on SWE-Bench Verified. Do note that these are vendor-run results rather than independent measurements. The model is billed at provider list pricing under GitHub’s usage-based system. GitHub currently lists MAI-Code-1-Flash at $0.75 per million input tokens, $0.075 per million cached input tokens, and $4.50 per million output tokens. For organizations, the main incentive to use MAI-Code-1-Flash is likely to be efficiency rather than maximum capability. A smaller model that responds quickly and limits unnecessary output is quite useful for repetitive agent tasks at scale, especially after GitHub Copilot’s move toward usage-based billing. The "Flash" model is recommended for fast work and not necessarily for huge repositories with loads of context. It's better if teams compare their output with other larger models, especially if they're working on security-sensitive changes and complex, multi-file work.
    • yes AND no the "original" or plain/normal Optiplex 7010 won't be getting any more new firmware updates BUT the Optiplex SFF/SFF Plus {small form factor}, Micro/Micro Plus & Tower/Tower Plus 7010 editions DO get new updates such as this new one   and here are similar guides from the Dell web site for Dell systems: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000390990/secure-boot-transition-faq https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000347876/microsoft-2011-secure-boot-certificate-expiration
