nice pics everyone! awesome pans, dont u just luv the stitching tool? i use both the one in photoshop cs and the one that came with my cam

i dont like the one that came with my S400. i used arcsoft's panoramic maker with the picture above, but it was on a shareware version. i still need to get the full version from a friend of mine.

I live in the Adirondacks in Upstate NY on the Sacandaga Lake. I get some beautiful sunsets and just wanted to share some. These have all been shrunk and the originals have a reso of around 1450X2100

Well since my post was lost I will repost my shots for every one to see. I posted a little history on my area and the photos I took but don't feel like doing it again so heres the photos.

Photo of a butte in my area, one of three. They used to be volcanos.

Photo of the other two buttes.

Photo of some clouds.

Photo of more clouds with a jet trail.

Photo taken from my drive way, the hill I was atop of to take the above photos.

Photo of my city taken at night from another location.

Since my post was lost also, and since i am a little bored at work, i'll also post mine again. This weekend we went to see the Diamond Masters, an ATP tennis tournament in Antwerp. We saw the finals between Kim Clijsters and Sofia Ferina Elia. I used to play in the same club as Kim Clijsters and we managed to get some nice seats close to the court, so i decited to take my digicam with me. The tournament is indoors so the lighting is poor and from where we were sitting it was difficult to get a good shot of the fast moving players. Since it's the first time i took photos on a sports event, i was surprised to see that most photos turned out nice. I resized them a lot to save some bandwidth.

    • But they will be the first asking for a bail out the moment crap goes sideways. Its just a matter of time with this AI thing unless skynet gets us first.
    • I'm so conflicted with the Google Search AI summaries. On one hand I don't like how it's harming smaller websites by greatly reducing traffic which will harm us all in the long run but on the other hand those AI summaries often give me the information I'm after. I have never once clicked on 'show me more' though and never will.
    • Not a single company as small or large it may be is obligated to subsidize its products and sell them at a loss. Your way of thinking is socialist and as a West German with a German brother state but impoverished by state dictatorship and a socialist command economy situated to the East i can tell you - this kind of thinking very quickly leads to products not being produced anymore at all. EDIT: That does not mean that I find state support for social needs unreasonable. Quite the contrary. Together with solid workers' rights we exactly had exactly that in Germany for decades in the form of the Sozialstaat which was as the scandinavian social democratic very successful - until the number of people who drew from those resources dramatically increased (ironically a project of social democrat and green proponents).
