That's a very good shot using the S400. I tried a few astronomy shots with my S400 and none of the pictures came out the way yours did; I had like maybe 2 or 3 visible stars, if that.

This weekend I'm going to try again, though. Right now we have cloud cover so I'll have to wait.

What type of tripod did you use? Is it a mini or full size?
