some nice pics there catnip. i went to mexico on memorial day weekend too. we only stayed for a day and it really wasnt fun. it was really dirty and the people were so poor. where we went looked nothing like what you sent to, even though it was on the beach.

oh i saw a good bit of that too.. it was kinda depressing.. those nice pictures were just at this national park, the rest of it was slums

I just got a Panasonic Lumix FZ10 for graduation and have done some experimenting in all manual mode.

*Had to resize because they are too large to upload otherwise.

*Cropped

This one is called American Evening and was taken at full optical zoom (12x).

Here is an example of it's insane macro mode (I can get so close the lens' shadow gets in the way or I actually touch the object).

*Reduced the image quality to bring down the upload size.

*Image resized

This is a lead fish weight on my driveway taken with a 4MP Panasonic DMC-FZ10

    • I did that to a work colleague many years ago when he left it logged in. Unfortunately I was out of the office the next day, and even the IT department was stumped lol. Got a bit of a bollocking when I got back into the office, but, by god, it was worth it.
