i'm 14, how old do you have to be to fly a plane? tell me, are you taking lessons and you go up there with the instructor? how much does it cost and stuff? by the way, its very cool that you're flying.

you can fly at any age, but you have to be 16 to solo. yes i went with the instructor. the total is about 100 bucks per hour, but it's worth it.

One question...you took the pics, then who was flying? ;) lol. Awesome pics though...I'm 16 btw and have been addicted to MS FS at times. Might try to start flying during college.

well... first answer... my instructor was fine with it... she took control for like the 2.5 seconds that it took for me to take pictures, and second answer... i had forgotten about the camera until descent... sorry folks, i'll do better next time. youm0nt... what are you talking about?

yeah... the first time was back in july... took me a while to keep my head from spinning.

If you fly over U of M, make sure you drop two nuke at the north campus.. anywhere is fine... preferrablly at EECS or Media Union.. Thanks in advance ;)

how does one get a license to fly a plane. im guessing there are different types of licenses for different planes. which one should an amateur get and what is the process.
