I'm in a hurry (gotta leave from work) so sorry for my ignorance to read all 15 pages, anyone know of an alternative to Microsoft Visio? I'm playing around with OpenOffice and I don't think this can be our alternative to MS Office yet. I'm hoping there's something like Visio (and can even work with Visio) If not, y'all can scold me for trying.

Anyone realized that these are really versions of commerical software (NOT free), and are hobbled with all sorts of limitations (watermarks, no options to export, etc). It looks like shareware which doesn't expire, but unless someone is gonna post a way to lift these restrictions, then these programs aren't good for anything other than fiddling around with settings and controls. They're not intended to be freeware, they're really crippleware.
