That is not allowed because even if the codecs are open-souce, the player, MPC, isn't using freely-available codecs. It uses codecs that are not free and I believe that Neowin does not allow posting of links to MPC or anything related to MPC.

I would like to submit EssentialPIM.

I have testing V1 and its pretty good cal, notes, and contact manager. Not really advanced yet but its new and being developed.

contacts = I like that I can add any info I need and delete the rest. Can have a photo

notes = Not as advanced as Keynote, but I think so will be.

Overall, I give 4 of 5 stars. I hope to beta test the new version in the next few weeks.
