Recommended Posts

$250 used to be my price point, but my next will have to be $450-600. I'm going at least 27" WQHD and/or G-Sync.

Hello,

Size? Type? Brand? Color? Usage? Color? Taste? Smell?

Any more details would be a little helpful....

 QFT

Um well obviously i only care about the best brands out there, in that price range, looking for suggestions based on expirence soo.

Its for a gaming pc im building, it has high end components so it will need to support that.

What are "high end components"? What games will you be playing? What resolutions do you want?

Too many questions for so little information.

Hello,

This is the one I have.

I watch movies so I had to go with 1920 x 1080 even though people were recommending another resolution. I dont have ONE remorse of going with 1920 x 1080 :) Awesome buy.

Hello,

Whatever you choose, try borderless screens. They are amazing!

What exactly makes them amazing?

Dell U2312HM is one of the best cheaper monitors there is. Go for it!

The absolute only but of my Dell U2312HM is no HDMI. It only has DisplayPort.

First of all, if you spend nightime hours with your PC , a borderless screen is great by night , it also provides that modern feel + it looks good with the latest Windows out there.

I won't return to normal, borderlocked screens ever again. You should try one in the stores and clear any doubts you have.

I have and it just feels like a gimmick. I can only see it working when you go dual, triple, quad, etc monitor. Other than that, there really is no plus to it except looks.

Go here, http://www.techbargains.com/  click monitors. We obtained two 27'' Samsung IPS LED for $189.99 USD w/free shipping a few months ago.

Huh? DVI = HDMI without sound. You get HDMI to DVI-adapters with every GPU or you can just get an HDMI to DVI cable. No point in both HDMI and DVI since they're the same cable and the same signal.

 Who said anything about DVI?

You complained about it not having HDMI. I wanted to make it clear that HDMI and DVI are the same thing. There's no point in having both.

Hello,

Not really but OK.

For the future reference, you need to learn about those cables:

So just because they use the same electrical signal they are the same?

HDCP, audio, remote control, bandwidth, connector.....do we really need to go on?

    • Limited time Prime Day deal cuts price of this Hisense 65" 4K smart TV in half by Ivan Jenic It’s Amazon Prime Day, and brands are offering great deals to consumers. One of the best deals of the day is definitely this Hisense 65" U7, which is currently $799.99 on Amazon, down from $1,499.99. That's nearly 50% off and $700 saved on this feature-packed 4K TV (purchase link down below). The U7 uses Mini-LED backlighting with up to 3,000 local dimming zones and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. That means blacks are truly deep and highlights are punchy enough to hold up even in bright rooms. The screen is covered with a dual-layer anti-reflection coating, which prevents the afternoon overhead lights from washing the picture. For gaming, the native 165Hz refresh rate and VRR 330 support make this one a great TV option for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The TV even features a native game mode, which should help minimize the input lag for a better gaming experience. Audio is handled by a 2.1.2 channel system tuned by Devialet, which is a notable partnership for a TV at this price. Additionally, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced are all supported. It runs Fire TV with Alexa+ built in. So, if you’re looking for a sharp, large screen to watch the World Cup on, the U7 at this price is definitely an attractive option. Speaking of which, Hisense is the official sponsor of the World Cup, which should mean absolutely nothing to you, and isn’t the reason why you should by this TV. The reason why you should buy it is that it’s “la bella televisione, HDTV-compatible, beautiful,” and available at half the price.
