You will probably need to wire in series to get the amp hours you want...must be a big stereo system you are trying to power or a maybe you are trying to power your neighborhood. Either way make sure your generator/alternator can handle the load as well.

Most car batteries are 50-60 amp hours

Varta has wide spectrum of batteries. I use only Varta as OEM for my golf. Here just for reference:

Yes, I know they are a OEM for various battery brands. Just didnt know which :)

Why a 90 specifically?

What is recommended for my car.

I acutally took the measurements the other day when I made this thread. I would say 270mm (length) by 17.5mm (width), more or less (dont quote me on that though).

What kind of car do you have, a howitzer tank? I think you are confusing ca with ah.

Maybe so:

http://www.varta-automotive.com/en-gb/products/automotive/black-dynamic/590-122-072/ (correct "90" Ive been recommended but too large of a battery to fit in my car)

If so, sorry for the confusion.

I thought http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ampere-hour ment the capacity.

This is the first one I came across,

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_734763_langId_-1_categoryId_165762#tab2

Looks like it might be within your battery bay size allowance, and the best part, it has a 5 year warranty, so if it fails, you get a free replacement, this one's actually better than mine, as mine was a 'shop's own' brand from Halfords,

Now, I do understand you're in Spain, and I'm assuming you have some sort of autocentre to rival ours.. failing that, I'll go check to see if I can find you someone closer, or can deliver within Europe...

edit, ebay and amazon local to you can provide as well

I think these qualify under your criteria, but I'm unsure of the exact sizes as they might be larger than your battery bay allows

They're also UK retailers, but I found them as a google search, (90ah car battery) so I would ask if you would take a moment and try the same for results closer to home

(as a secondary note, might I suggest using a van battery? I suggest this as a lot of heavy ICE users swap out car batteries for van batteries, <something to do with the rumour that they're designed to be under constant drain/recharge,> to save space in the boot, and not run second batteries for their Amplifiers)

Varta is a very good manufacturer of car batteries, but I prefer to go with the original (V.A.G.), made by Bosch.

And, unfortunately, you are asking for something which is impossible. There are no compact large capacity batteries out there.

When I upgraded my battery from 75 to 95 because I needed some extra juice for Webasto (engine/interior pre-start parking heater), the new battery that came in was significantly heavier (24 vs 17 kg) in the same standard (non-compact) form factor for my auto (352x190x175).

Check out the Optima RedTop series. Only thing is they're not really cheap.

Nor do they have the Ah he is looking for.  He needs the power of a truck battery in a size of a lawn mower battery.  I try to replace my batteries with them when the stock ones die.

    • "just $100 per TB"? Just? Are we trying to make this seem like the new normal? Kinda weird to make it sound like that is not a ridiculously expensive asking price.
    • The reviews you refer to mean nothing. Where there is no journalism there is no reason to call the gaming media's opinion pieces "reviews". For GP games there is indeed a metric for success - increasing subscriptions. Which turns in revenue. The only circumstance in which subs do not rise when great is being released is a Game Pass system where the company is close to fully saturated with customers in a subscription. However, in that case as the theory goes you spend aplenty in all kind of games - from shady live service cash cows and customer offending agitprop crap in purple colours to robust and entertaining single player games. And keep a solid level of profitability. Ignoring the simply innocuous but mid games MGS has released primarily of the second kind.
    • Report: Microsoft to use AWS to help GitHub deal with a major surge in demand by Pradeep Viswanathan Thanks to the surge of coding AI agents, GitHub's usage has skyrocketed over the past 12 months. To meet this demand, GitHub started with a plan in October 2025 to increase capacity by 10x. However, by early this year, the company realized that it needed 30x scale. This rapid growth has caused severe strain on the platform's reliability, resulting in several small outages over the past few months. In April, GitHub published a long blog post explaining the steps it is taking to resolve these reliability issues. In the post, the company also confirmed that it is working toward a multi-cloud architecture for better resilience. Today, Business Insider reported that GitHub is turning to Amazon Web Services to help deal with a major surge in AI-driven coding activity. It is important to note that GitHub is still in the process of moving completely to the Azure cloud. The current plan is to move the platform fully to Azure by 2027 so that it can scale better as per developer demand. Therefore, the current decision to utilize AWS might be part of a short-term plan to meet immediate demand. A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that GitHub is using multiple cloud providers with the following statement: For Microsoft, the decision highlights the operational pressure behind the AI boom. GitHub has to stay reliable for developers at a time when rivals such as Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, and other AI coding tools are gaining attention. And the decision to use AWS for computing capacity seems practical given the circumstances.

    • Qwen 3.6 is better value per dollar, and you can run it locally for free.
