some of the images i was noticing they dont have those style buttons windows x...

some problems i noticed so far

1 text is all "greyed out" for all the menu and right click options please change it to black text and save the "greyed out" for things that can not be chosen in a menu

2 shut down text is cut off (noticed in your screenshots that its not shut down its turn off so that could be why)

I totally agree and the menu text does look crappy. You might want to fix the Caption Bar text too, it's hard to read!

I can trick the caption buttons to be closer to the top but i cant get rid of the gap between them.

you could actually put the buttons on the caption bar itself, and set the stretching margins to past where it is

then just pop the glyphs on top of the area you have created on the caption bar

couldn't you?

That's just silly trick that I never forget it but what if I use larger theme mode? Can you forcast how it looks for fixed sizing margins with pane and caption bar merged resizing? And I think I won't mess my whole theme time for this less-creative piece on different UI. By the way, this is ANDYLOGO's thread so I shouldn't talk too much and post my latest progress.

Made the Caption Buttons Thinner, as well as added more reflection(shine).

Comments and feedback needed.

Cheers

The Close button is suppose to be longer then the rest....

Another thing I noticed is that your theme is silver..the real one is more black.

Looks great but what happened to the gradient effect. Also did you change the scrollbars cause they were better before.

The reason the real one looks black is because it is transparent is is on a black background. And right now it is impossible to make one button longer than the others.

@BMac the scrollbars only look like that on neowin.net, everywhere else they are the same as before.

Cheers

What about the gradients of the caption bar? Are they gone? If so please bring them back.

I can make buttons like those but there is a gap between those buttons and i personally don't like the buttons with the gap.

Personally I'd rather see your buttons. They look much better.

Edit: could you maybe make the background of the caption buttons more transparent looking like the one's windows x posted.

good god, all i see in this thread is can you do this, oh and can you do that, you guys really need to stop bothering the developers every two seconds...

i believe its called input  it helps the developer make better things. And they got a keyboard and fingers too if im not mistaken. They can tell us if were being a nusance
