I forget to say something. Andylogo, if you really are themer, you shouldn't say his/her work is bad or ugly (like ppl won't tell you that shot is damn bad but they tell you what will suite Longhorn) Or you aren't? (I think you've read my mail yet so behave yourself to become real themer or I post that message in here)

Yeah! Maybe we should ban Windows X from all the Longhorn related topics except his own! :D :p

Well..I think Windows X's reaction was very much acceptable

U tell me Xp_2003 U tell me..If u made a VS

And some other guy made the same type of VS (Mayb a RIP)

U accept that its his own..u even give him ur shellstyle

And then he sayz sumthin like

This is not meant to be rude, but if you want buttons that look as bad as the ones WindowsX posted you can use that theme

Its like saying "If u want bull**** den go use his theme"

Almost any1 wud have had a similar reaction..So Plz be nice to him

Andylogo was rude to windowsX and he got that back

Not me but he said that thing was bad. If it must be rude, it should rude to anyone who like or want it not me because I didn't like Aero being but I do cuz ppl just want it. He could say he doesn't like it and that's his theme so he has his right to do anything but he's not (I just wanna help him from low way to become real themer). And I remember that XP_2003 used to use my VS and many reply in my Plex thread. So is it treachery? God give you brain so use it and think what will you do if you were I?

yeah okay, but just pm him or post ONE post instead of THREE ;)

And Windows X was like this too when someone made an Slate logon before Windows X released his, hmm I think he was even worse...

Stop folking stupid like this XP_2003! If you have no idea for creativity, just hold your hand down from keyboard. It's you who's messing this topic not me. You traitor (LOL). And no matter who had done (even I've done it in first day with tuning to put it in LH Pack with delay) I didn't copy anything from anyone. Understand?

And I've done logon before that thread start yet (Haven't you seen my logon shot in request PDC logon?). That thread started because they think I'll delay this work which I've done it before from Xero's M5 logon core with permission (I asked him for file myself but that logon was a modded Xero's work secretly) Hands off if you haven't really known what truth is. I'll pass this guy now because I don't want to mess someone's thread anymore (So waste of time)

I didn't say that you copied anything from anyone, and this has nothing to do with creativity (maybe YOU are the one who should think before typing something). You can be very rude yourself, for example with the slate logon, someone asked your help and you weren't very polite to say the least... But okay you have an other opinion about this, so let's stop debating and no hard feelings. :)

Firstly, I have to do apologize that I've posted one more stupid reply but I can't stand on this. XP_2003 discredited me so much with that lie for ppl who's new and who never know. So I curiously want to explain this. Please forgive me this stupid thing (It will be last)

See. This is the first post in that tyhread you've said.

I have based my second design on a different background, which I based on I think was Windows X's design.
I tried to guide him what he need to do and I've got flamed.
Only one shot? Can't you make it center just as I did? Mine is not mock up shot. It's real. Real Logon which available for Longhorn Transformation Pack 4.0

Don't understand you again Windows X !

The way you say this is that your Login in the transformation pack is the real one. - Which thats not possible due to the changes in the logonui.exe script etc. - it just wouldn't work On XP ?? (unless your redistributing the ORIGINAL ??) - I even checked the logonui versions and see the way Microsoft compiled them are different ! (just saying how it sounds thats all)? Like I say I don't follow what you mean.

The screenshots for the ones I have been working on can be found on deviantart with the download links to them. The screenshots you refer to as 'Mock' shots - are screenshots of the logins in action at the time of testing.

Thats the deal.

As for centering the login area - yes it might be possible for me to adjust the margins.

Cat.

He hasn't pleased for my opinions so I said good luck and leave but XP_2003 was always crushing me down.

Guide is continue. I tried once more to continue helping him to see that can set align to center.

Can't you make one file which support all resolution as I did (set align to center)?

Now I've got better respond from him (I've always said as mine because I want to prove him it's possible)

I kept watching that thread so long and I realized that will be no help if they never know how to do so I decided to put my work (Which have done so far before that thread start, old work) in that thread and explain about what they need to fix from my work. And I've got a bit flame from them and take so long time to make it clear (Check page 10-11 in pdc logon thread). After that cleared, they start asking me for file (I know this won't do help anymore) so I decided to not post my work again because bug's law and I'm going to release it very soon so no matter what I do, they will get my file finally and I've already explained what to do too.

Clear? If not, be short, I'm helping them but I've got flamed with their conviction and that misunderstanding was cleared by I'm one who've done it and keep watching someone else work and help them to make it better.

can't we all just get along? let's see.. hmm.. maybe if you two guys work together as a team to make a better version! both of you guys have the same credits toward 1 project, and that 1 project can be better than the old one!

I"m really looking foward to getting this theme on my comp.. what do you guys say?

I don't think its a good idea, that the two of them work together, first WindowsX seems petty and childlike, second I don't think he has any ability with graphics. Allow me to elaborate...

1. All the resources and graphics are from longhorn, he didn't make sh!t all.

2. The graphics he did come up with for the caption buttons in the corner look like sh!t, ergo the graphic ability is not there.

Sure you guys are thinking, but what about the aero theme it looks so good...i love you windowsx....yeah i'm sure that thought has crossed some of your minds...

but once again, the startmenu is the only thing about that theme that looks good, and it was made by OldeCrowe, whose work I have respect for...

So the idea that the two of them work together, when one of them can clearly come up with the better end product when given the same resources, is ludicrous.

Yeah this post isn't very friendly, but whatever, I'm tired of all the whining and b!tching, so get over your own damn egos, and someone get windowsx a tissue....

I'm done...

ThemeXP has been down too long. I wasn't gonna complain, but I really wanna try out the updated theme. The first one was great, but the greyed out text was pretty ugly and the so-called "gradients" just looked like bars of different colors, needs to be redone. Besides that, though, kick ass theme!

The new caption buttons will be included soon. I do however have to ask everyone here which taskbar they would like with the new caption buttons because they are only going to be ONE substyle. So everyone who wants a say, post your opinion and whichever one has the most votes is the one i am going to do.

Cheers

    • Google begins rolling out its post-Epic Play Store billing model next week by Karthik Mudaliar Google has confirmed that its redesigned Play Store billing and fee structure will take effect on June 30, 2026, in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area. The changes will let eligible developers offer their own payment systems or send users to an external website for purchases, while separating Google’s platform service fee from the cost of using Google Play Billing. The rollout puts concrete dates and detailed rate cards behind the broader Android policy overhaul Google announced in March. That announcement followed a proposed settlement with Epic Games intended to resolve their long-running disputes over app distribution and payments, although the U.S. portion of the agreement still requires court approval. Under the new billing choice program, developers selling digital content or services can display an alternative payment option alongside Google Play Billing. They may also direct users to their own websites to complete a purchase. Developers can use Google’s standard payment-choice screen or design one that complies with the company’s user-interface rules. Choosing another payment processor does not eliminate Google’s cut altogether. The company will continue charging a service fee for transactions associated with apps distributed through Google Play, regardless of whether payment is handled by Google, an alternative provider, or a developer’s website. Google argues that this fee covers the value and infrastructure provided by Android and the Play Store. For developers earning up to $1 million annually, the service fee will generally be 10 percent. That rate also applies to auto-renewing subscriptions. When Google Play Billing is used in the U.S., U.K., or EEA, Google will add a separate 5 percent billing fee, and developers processing payments elsewhere will not pay that additional charge. This means Google’s familiar flat 30 percent commission is disappearing, but developers will not necessarily see a dramatic reduction on every transaction. An in-app purchase from an existing user processed through Google Play Billing can still reach a combined 30 percent. The biggest savings are likely to come from subscriptions, smaller developers covered by the $1 million tier, and companies able to move customers to their own payment infrastructure. Google is also offering lower rates through its Apps Experience and revamped Games Level Up programs. Apps and games that satisfy the company’s requirements can qualify for 15 percent service fees on new-install transactions and 20 percent on existing-install transactions. The criteria include performance and reliability standards, support for additional Android device categories, and selected platform features. Those program rates are scheduled to become available in the initial markets and Australia on September 30. For consumers, the immediate effect will depend on whether developers adopt alternative payments and pass any savings on through lower prices. For developers, however, June 30 begins a more flexible but considerably more complicated Play Store economy in which distribution, billing, install dates, revenue thresholds, and program participation can each affect Google’s final cut. Google is also separately developing a Registered App Stores program designed to simplify the installation of qualifying third-party stores. That initiative is expected to arrive with a major Android release later in 2026 and will launch outside the U.S. first. Google says the rest of the world will receive the changes by September 30, 2027, although billing rates for markets outside the US, UK, and EEA have not yet been announced.

    • This is about the already discredited 2025 announcement. Not the current one, which I've heard nothing negative about in the academic literature.
