PS4 remote play allows hospitalized child to game hundreds of miles from home.

Felix Morais is hospitalized hundreds of miles away from his home in New Brunswick, but PlayStation 4's remote capabilities allow him to still play titles such as Infamous: Second Son, DualShockers reports.

 

Remote play allows PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners to play games on handhelds like the Vita. Morais, 9, suffers from digestive problems that require him to spend a lot of time in hospitals.

 

During one such instance, his father, Alexis, helped connect the console with the Vita. Although glitchy at first, Morais was reportedly able to play Second Son with few problems. Alexis Morais later tweeted a photo (pictured above) of his son playing the game.

He is 9 and shouldn't be playing this game. What kind of father lets a child play such games with violence, and adult themes? Next thing you know we will have 9 year olds playing CoD on Xbox Live....

Seriously though, hope he gets better, gaming (no matter what the game) is a healthy thing to do and will hopefully speed up his recovery.

Pegi is the European rating system, In Australia it holds an [M] rating which basically means anyone can buy it. The next rating up is MA15+ which is advised for people older than 15 yrs of age and is the first rating where a person may be asked to show proof of their age before hiring or purchasing an MA 15+ film or computer game.

 

In the US where this story is from Infamous Second Son has a Teen rating.
