Comedy Central?s search for Stephen Colbert?s replacement has finally come to an end.

Larry Wilmore, who has served as The Daily Show?s ?Senior Black Correspondent? since 2006, is getting his own half-hour show in the 11:30/10:30c time slot, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to his acting credits ? which include recent appearances on ABC?s Happy Endings and Malibu Country, as well as Nickelodeon?s Instant Mom ? Wilmore also boasts a full behind-the-scenes resume, having created Fox?s The PJs and The Bernie Mac Show.
