Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Recommended Posts

The dead Robin is probably Jason Todd, his death being in the 'A Death in the Family' storyline. By then Dick Grayson is Nightwing. He's followed by Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown (rumored: Jena Malone)

Wasn't she going to be Carrie Kelly? Too bad Gordon might already be dead in this world though :/

Not really enough to matter.

I see enough of it to make it matter tbh. It looks very close to several versions of the comic-book.

It could go either way IMO. Depends on how close to DK Returns this is. It could also bring in Stephanie as Barbara's replacement as Batgirl.

Reports mentioned Carrie Kelly though, not Stephanie Brown. Besides, Stephanie never really was a real Robin.

The image below popped up on Imgur this morning, and as you might imagine, it has already started creating a lot of buzz on social media websites. Chances are that it's a fake, like so many other supposedly "leaked" images we've seen in the past (people are bored and have too much time on their hands to make these things I guess). Let's for a minute assume that it is real though. Is it so hard to believe that Warner Bros. would split Batman v Superman into a two-part movie?

Don't know if it's real or not but if so that'd be cool, less waiting and by making it a two part movie means that the story as a whole isn't rushed.

Part I sounds like Superman is about to sodomize Batman.

It just sounds like the first part could introduce batman into the new universe with part two showing WW and others.

No, the name itself literally sounds like Supes is gonna bone Batman.

EDIT:

Jokes aside, not sure how I feel about this.

Splitting it this far into production really makes it seem like WB has no idea what they're doing, besides looking into milking this entire shared universe thing for all it's worth.

On the other hand, I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't like to see it earlier than 2016.

If the script is long and they'd rather not cut things out then i'd rather they split it and not rush it, plus we'd see it sooner so that's a bonus. They could also pull the old cliffhanger trick and have extra buildup for part 2 the following year.

Well what would they really do.... Batman still can't compare to Superman's power so why have them fighting as I've said before. I can see some heated exchanges between the two about a common foe but that's about it.

Well, as was said before, in the comics, Batman hands Supes his own ass on al silver platter. The moral of the story is Brains before Brawn.

Don't believe it? Look it up.

I'd say there is no right answer for if Batman vs Superman would be better than Avengers Age of Ultron. Obviously both would have bias fans rooting for each side. Then again Age of Ultron has a stellar cast and a Hulk .. BUSTER. Yeah, I'm gonna go with Marvel on this one. Batman V Superman is probably going to turn out like The Matrix Revolutions fight at the end (The Neo vs Agent Smith fight)

    • Linux 7.2's first release candidate gets off to a good start by Paul Hill Credit: Larry Ewing It has been a few weeks since the release of Linux 7.1, and in that time, the Linux 7.2 merge window has been open, where developers can submit their features and patches ready for the upcoming release. That window is now shut, and the release candidate phase has begun so that new features can be tested and further fixes applied. According to the founder of Linux, Linus Torvalds, this week’s release candidate looks “reasonably normal”. Although we are super early in the release candidates, this is a good sign as it makes it more likely that an eighth release candidate will not be needed. Torvalds even mentioned that the update’s stats are only larger than they really are because there was another AMD header drop with a third of the patch just being AMD GPU register definitions, which aren’t big changes but make the code contributed look larger overall. In addition to this, he noted that just over half the patch is drivers, even when excluding the AMD register dump. The rest of the changes are spread out over architecture updates, tooling, documentation, and core kernel updates. In the next week, Torvalds says that he will be chilling out, taking the week “mostly off”. Despite this, he will be reading emails and keeping up with things, so if he is slow responding, now you know why. He said he is hoping for a calm week, but we will just have to see if the second release candidate is actually like that. We should expect seven or eight release candidates before Linux 7.2 is released, so expect it around the end of August. If you missed it a few weeks ago, be sure to check out our coverage of Linux 7.1's release.
