Line infront of Apple Store Tokyo

Recommended Posts

I'm still watching it now. WOAH it's a big line..! right up to the end of the road with the crossing, and across the road - the line starts again..!

I wish I was there (but near the front ;)), actually I wish they'd have a big Apple Store like that in the UK - somewhere near, say - Swansea/Cardiff...then I'd be happy.

I can only imagine how small the line would be if it were a new MS store (no seriously, not 'as' many people would queue up).

Instead of watching it via stream, I downloaded the .mov file and fast forwarded it and WOAH..!!!!!!!! that's a long one.

From the store, they line up down the road - nice little junction/crossing, so, a new line starts - and I counted like 10 pavements full and 2 minutes through the video it was announced the 1000th person. Another 10 minutes in the video to go, so we're talking a few thousand.

They didn't just queue down the long road - there was a junction on the other side of the street so they're queuing all around the blocks. I am truly impressed with the sheer length of this queue.

I love when people feel the need to jump in threads and just spout out negative comments.

What's the big deal? There probably isn't any to you, but for the person who posted it, he thought it was cool. Give him a break.

If you don't have something positive to say, why even post? What is the motivation to spend the time typing something totally negative and off topic?

And from mods too, shame

what exactly did keldyn and I say that was negative?

2 of my posts were asking why so many people were lined up outside of the store. I still don't even know. Was it an event?

the other was Keldyn dropping a joke, and the last was was me acknowledging a joke.

It was the grand opening of the first Apple retail store outside of the states, and its gotta be Apple's largest store so far. There has been line up's for every store so far, but obviously none as big as this.

Pictures of the actual store can be found here:

    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
