I'm all for it. But realistically, there is a reason that Munich moved back to Windows. Proprietary software that refuses to provide a Linux version is a major issue (Microsoft's Office, the Adobe Suite...). There are open-source alternatives and I use them; they function perfectly fine for my work. But it was a matter of me finding my way compared to a program that I used for years. Your average employee won't get on with that change as well as I did.
