I got one off of Ebay. It was a really good machine, but I just needed more speed. So now I have a 15" PowerBook. I still own my Cube though, and use it to do any PageMaker work because I refuse to install any Classic applications that aren't needed on this machine. :p

Hey man! :D ... you might wanna check out CubeOwner.com ... thats' the place to be, when you gotta cube, and while you don't ... You're'll probably find some for sale there... :D

i would love a cube... but i won't get one just yet if i was u, because there are rumors that apple will release cube-like imacs in early 2004...

right, so Apple is going to come out with an iMac Cube.

What rumour site did ya get this one off of?

macrumos... even thought i might not be true i would still wait... apple wouldn't let january 24th go without something special coming out.

for the spec i was looking at i don't think the cube is for me... :(

i was looking for 1ghz 512ram *40gig+* but i will keep looking, im going

to look at the power books now and the imacs..

Or this spec for a cube *only*

PowerMac G4 Cube 500MHz, 1.25Gb RAM, GeForce3 64Mb, 120Gb HD - 17" Apple Studio Display -
*that would be a sweet setup for me :)... i know the same as Neyo..

hehe :p

haha! thanks man!  :)

What would you use your Cube for? have you used a Mac before?

Of course a G4 isn't the FASTEST machine in the world... But if you pack it with a Gb of RAM, or max it even @ 1.5G, it's noticeably different from the stock 64mb it shipped with! ... CPU speed isn't everything, unless your application requires it. So in reality, what would you being on it? You have to realize, that you a pay a above average rate, to join the exclusive Cube Owners Club  - and yet you don't get the Bang for Buck people speak of. Instead you get that silent, good looking machine, which is actually still quite expandable... The point would be, in short, Specs aren't watch get with Cube's, its quite something other - which is what probably drew to them, initially anyhow! ;)

Hi, ~~NeYo~~ ok this is what i belive i will be doing on it :

*i have used a mac once for only a phew days* on the 1st version of OS X

- Work, *word* *publisher*

- Internet *surfing* on Neowin

- Movies *.avi* *.mpeg* [Maybe Encoding , Ripping if possible ?]

- Music *.mp3*

- Photoshop *playing making things like i do*

What you think stick with the windows machine or turn my hands ?...?

    • yeah it seems to be Edge only. The dialog buttons work as expected in Chrome and Firefox. The phone is using Android 16 (OneUI 8.5) and Edge version  149.0.4022.53
    • I'm not aware of this issue, but to help the other guys.  What version of Android are you using? Did you try a different browser? To see if Edge is the issue here.
    • I agree when are you going to read this (really poor BTW) article? Here is a better article so you actually know what is going on and answers questions you had in other comments --> https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2026/05/speed-boosting-low-latency-profile-is-one-of-the-improvements-coming-to-windows-11/ It is unclear if one will be able to disable the new profile at this point but I am not seeing any reason why one would.
