HP Microserver key .. I've lost mine :(

Recommended Posts

According to their website on tools required to change the Hard Drive it's a Torx-10 or Torx-15 head you need. I recommend buying a Torx set as they are very useful and like 10 bucks at a hardware store.

It's not a torx?

Doesn't look like a torx to me

Are you talking about the key that unlocks the door on the front of the server?

Yep, that lock

what key are you talking about? the SN key on the server?

The front door panel lock

ah the front lock key; since those keys are standard, if you don't have a mailbox key or another server to "borrow" and open it, i sugest you take your server into a locksmith so he can sell you a new set (those are pretty cheap).

That's all fine ... except the server's a PBX :/

So? Can't you take the server after the office is closed into a locksmith? They work 24h, you know right? At least in here they do lol

but if time is a matter then a drill can fix it, although it will: a) void the warranty and b) can really screw your server if not done right; also that should be done with the server turned off so the first option is still better (taking into a locksmith).

shamilbear, Not sure if all the keys are the same... but pm me an address I'll send you one of mine if you want. Dunno how long Royal Fail will take to deliver though.

I disabled the lock cos I don't need it.

Ah bummer man, I thought I lost my NL36 and almost drilled the lock out about six months ago after HP support was next to useless...fortunately just before hand I remembered thinking why would I even separate the key this front door isn't keeping anybody out and sure enough key was taped to the bottom back corner of the server :)

I lost mine also! I "borrowed" one from a mate of mine. I tried to copy it at the local locksmith but they couldn't do it as the key too small.

Its a Southco W-23 if you wanna look out for one.

I couldn't find one in the UK and the locksmith didn't have a reference design :/

I think the one I get will be stuck with a tape to it, in future.

Went to the locksmith today, closed before I got there. Apparently they all close before half 8 :/

Greed is main driving factor behind its adoption; the other is remaining relevant in the face of competition from other entities.

Less than a week ago, Mozilla fixed crashes on Intel Raptor Lake processors with version 152.0.1. Now, Mozilla has prepared yet another set of fixes that address problems with localization, playback issues of certain MP4 files, and performance issues on website that perform various encryption operations at once. Here is the full changelog: Firefox 152.0.2 is now available for download from Mozilla's FTP. Existing installations will get the update over the next several hours. The latest version will also be available soon on the official website, the Microsoft Store, and Neowin's Software page. You can find Firefox 152.0.2 release notes in the official documentation. The latest feature update brought reworked settings with a more streamlined user interface, JPEG XL support, new features for Private mode, a new way to mute a tab (just type "mute" in the address bar), and many more. You can find the complete changelog here. In other Firefox news, Mozilla recently published its roadmap, where the company detailed the upcoming Nova redesign and other features it plans to implement.
