Scratched HDD broken head

I have a hard drive with a ALOT of sensitive information that is unrecoverable and will take months to regather.

On estimate the data is ~$50k

 

I only need the text based files every thing else is not needed.

 

 

I don't care the price ill pay it i need this data.

 

 

The hard drive disk was scratched all the way around by the head.

 

Is the data recoverable? how would you go about repairing the disk?

OP - Any data recovery company (forensic data recovery) can remove data from bad/dead HDD.

It is only worth $50,000 to you, and why dont you have a backup ?

If the head is scratched (unsure how you know this) it will cause microscopic shrapnel all over the platters.  This usually isnt a problem as the data recovery companies will only use the original platters when the dip them in the photo liquid.

If you opened the drive (only an idiot would do so) I hope you were in a clean room.  A small piece of dust would act like a 2 ton boulder in the road blocking your car.

If you opened the chasis, your device is pretty much ######ed.

 

It's possible that a data recovery joint can recover some data, just hope you didn't open it.
