ObjectDock and system tray

Hi

I really want to remove the windows taskbar and just use objectdocks but I have a problem... Can I move the items from the system tray to obectdock somehow? I really need mirc and msn to move up and some other small things...

Is it possible? I am running samurize as well, is there a way maybe to show all the system tray items in samurize?

good question. I know you can hide the taskbar, but I have not seen a way to move the sys tray. Why don't you just get a mac?? :D that's what you're turning it into when you do that.

They didn't put a tray in ObjectDock because that functionaly exists in Stardock's commercial product ObjectBar. I don't know for sure if there's another program that's just a (free) tray replacement. If there is, I'd like one too.

I do know that you can tell mIRC *not* to minimize to the tray, and you can tell MSN Messenger not to run in the background and just minimize it instead of closing it... but that's not what you want to do. I would still want to have a visible tray instead of filling up my dock.

you could always just auto-hide the taskbar....i have object dock on the bottom and i have the start bar at the top and have it so it auto hides....

KK Menu allows for this. I have the shareware version, and am almost out of sharing time, but I don't know if the earlier, fully free versions do this.

Unfortunately this docklet is shareware, but it does have the system tray in it, as older versions that were free (which I'm using) did not. If you wanna pay $10 for a docklet go ahead, cuz I sure wouldn't! :no: I'll keep running the free one, it's working just fine without the system tray!
