I have a website hosted with godaddy along with domain names registered there.
I want to forward DOMAIN NAME A (hosted with email setup on godaddy) to DOMAIN NAME B (hosted with create.net and no email setup) without affecting the email of DOMAIN NAME A. How do I do this with godaddy? Everytime I forward it I cant receive any emails.
Actually, MS not only stopped caring about home users years ago; but, more recently has stopped caring about the Windows Operating System. Well documented and certainly evidenced by the sloppiness of Windows-10 and now Windows-11.
Admittedly, there will be a learning curve, just as it was way back when MS and its Windows was reputable and reliable. Now...nowhere nearly as much.
So, to move onto a more reliable situation, a learning curve is to be expected. Once done, the MS nonsense is over.
As I seen elsewhere, there is a reason MS dominates Enterprise and it's not Windows in any variety but rather the Active Directory/Azure/Intune stack that manage all the users, computer and other joined assets. There is nothing like it on Linux, at least not without bodging various applications which won't even come close and will not be as reliable.
The other costs is training your inhouse IT staff to handle Linux, and deal with end users. Then you have to deal with other companies poaching those staff, as Linux ops command higher wages due to their rarity.
It's never as black and white as people make it out to be, and most people get stuck in the weeks looking at software stacks without taking a step back and looking at the full CMDB, software licencing and user management that is required for auditing, management and other tasks that is required for data regulations and other legal requirements.
